Great customer service and clean rooms
Overall great experience. No complaints. Very clean room. Front desk staff are very friendly. Nice location too. Would stay here again if coming through Brandon. Due to Covid we missed out on the free breakfast and the grab and go was just juice and a danish.
Chose for its EV charging station... but HVAC system sounded like a jet engine
After a long drive in from North Battleford, I was relieved the hotel's EV charger was available. After check-in, though, discovered the room's heating/AC system could not be controlled, except by unplugging it. Around 2am, the air quality became rancid, so we re-engaged the AC, and then muted the jet-engine din with earplugs. The entire hotel style-wise seems to be a tired relic from the 1980s, though... well-worn, though clean. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to friends, nor would I stay here again.
Cozy bed, loud heating
The room was cozy, except the heating system. It was so loud, I had to unplug for the night. The morning was very refreshing. Based on the pandemic regulations, the breakfast was as is, but there are few breakfast place in the area to take out.
Great morning breakfast
Our weekend stay was great this time. Very clean and quiet room and the free breakfast is amazing the first morning, but one Sunday morning. A new staff doing the breakfast area never washed her hands between wiping down tables and such to handling food items with her hands...... Our only minor complaints are 1) no heat source in the bathroom do the floor in there is ice cold so suggest one bring and wear slippers of some sort. 2) The shower head do not allow for any great water flow, even when one tries all the settings, so getting the soap off oneself takes some time
Excellent service
Welcomed by friendly staff(Cody), check in was super easy and quick. No elevator in this hotel but that was ok. Discovered a clean and spacious room included microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. We were in Brandon for a concert and arrived later on in the evening. Our best discovery was the complimentary hot breakfast! Signage said ask for GLUTEN-FREE! Pleasantly surprised this hotel offered gluten free bread, gluten free sausages! Omelettes and an assortment of yogurts. Toppings for toast. Fresh fruit, pastries and cereals, and also a waffle maker. Surprisingly also this hotel offered milk alternatives-ALMOND MILK! Will definitely be back. It’s just so easy to offer the growing diet alternatives. Why don’t more hotels do this? Thanks you comfort inn!
