Won't stay here again!!!
Opinión escrita el 15 de Septiembre de 2021
Check in was long, then you had to go to a side room where they tried to get you to do a timeshare presentation.
Pool was indoors and to cold to really enjoy, hot tubs jets weren't working!
Room was terrible dirty was going to complain but figured it wouldn't do any good. See pictures!
Building #2 401A is a closet!

Wow! What a disappointment! Yes, it was a one bedroom unit with a kitchen but that is all I can think to say that was good about it. There was no porch to sit in outside and nowhere else to sit inside, except in a very tiny, dark room that was called a "living room"...one couch and one table and lamp...tiny window looking out onto the strairs.
The only other place to sit was a small round glass table in the kitchen! The only decent window to look out of was over the kitchen sink..if you stood on your tiptoes! All the furniture looked like it had been donated by an antique flea market.
On the plus side...it was spotlessly clean and plenty of nice linens.
Forget the "update meeting" if you can. The staff if incredibly rude and really don't know what is happening with the property because they have recently switched to a new exchange company.
family trip to Branson MO

We used our Interval week to trade in for a week at Grand Crowne. I agree with others that check in is not the best. There's not really a "front desk". You actually go into the ground floor of one of the buildings and wait in a ridiculously long line. After driving almost 18 hours over 2 days, we wanted a fast check in. I had to call my husband in because for some reason my name wasn't on the reservation and his was so we switched but then he didn't come out even though I had been at the front of the line. Turns out after you "check in" they bring you to a side room to "give you your key" but also to tell you about all of the "offers". It's their way of trying to get you into a timeshare presentation. UGH. After what seemed to be a very long time, I went in and got him (luckily the 4 kids waiting in the car are all teenagers and can be unattended. If I had 4 small children in the car it would have been a nightmare....it took probably 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes for that check in process. Seriously, after so long in the car, no one wants to take that long to check in and be sold a timeshare!! (he let my husband go because we already own a timeshare...but I must mention that the guy was super nice and not high pressure....just too chatty)!! It was the only negative about our trip but it's worth noting.
Now...getting on to the review of the actual room...
The room was great! I had stressed before we went trying to upgrade our room from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom because my 4 kids are getting older and my daughter doesn't want to share a bed with any of her 3 brothers. I should not have worried at all!! It was actually the perfect set up for older kids (if my kids were younger I would not have liked the set up because they would have been too far from us). You walk into the main door (from your room, there are two doors to outside) there's a long hallway and to the left and the right there are doors that adjoin you to the adjacent rooms. We had the one to the left. When we opened the door, it was it's own apartment sized hotel room. You walked into a small living room with a pull out sofa and a bedroom behind it. Washing machine, bathroom and small full kitchen. Then on to our main area, we had another full bathroom, washer dryer, our kitchen/living room with another pull out sofa and the master bedroom. There was no balcony off the living room but there was a small one off the master and it overlooked the golf course. There was a jacuzzi tub and bathroom in the master (but the shower stall is in the actual bedroom, not in the bathroom...a little weird). So in all, we had 3 full bathrooms, 2 small washer and dryers (we used both), 4 TVs and 2 full kitchens. My 19 year old son and 17 year old daughter used the "apartment" room and my 13 and 15 year old sons shared the pull out sofa in the main living room. They supply plenty of towels. Not only are there some hanging in each bathroom, but each bathroom had many extras in the cabinets beneath the sinks. They also supplied 6 pool towels.
There is only an indoor pool at this hotel. I would have preferred an outdoor pool but this was our only option. The indoor pool was ok. The lighting was really dark and it was loud because of the echo. There are two small hot tubs and as in most hotels, they're too hot to really enjoy. On two different occasions, the indoor pool had to close due to the threat of thunderstorms. You'd think that the one benefit to an indoor pool is that it wouldn't close if it rains, but there's a giant flagpole right outside the pool house that apparently can act as a lightening rod. So they close if it's going to thunder/lightening.
We had to call the "front desk" a couple of times...once for a plunger (ugh...boys)...once for more detergent for the washer. I had brought some Tide Pods, but did a load of dirty boy clothes each day and I ran out...Each time we called, someone came within minutes.
This place is not the newest but it was clean and large enough for our family. A third bedroom would have been good but certainly wasn't necessary. This is definitely a room you could share with another family if you wanted to be close but still have your own personal space.
This hotel is close to the main attractions but far enough that you don't hear any noise or traffic. We did some "touristy" stuff while there but it's also only a mile from Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area which had beautiful hiking trails.
I would definitely recommend.
Check in was a nightmare, but at the end....all is good!

We arrived early and the room wasn't ready. I certainly understand that because it was my choice to maybe get the room a little early since we had a long day of traveling. However, the room wasn't available until 5:45 p.m.! When we did get the room, it was very clean and the room was very nice. It overlooked the golf course and had a very nice patio. Bathroom was also very clean! We got the room for three nights for a total of $89.00 which included tax, four show tickets, a $20.00 voucher to Getting Basted BBQ and a free old time photo. We did have to take a short presentation for a vacation club but I thought that it was low pressure and we got out of there quickly. Anyway....this is a little older complex but the grounds, pool and buildings are kept up well
Building 6 - 406 B — BED BUGS!!
Opinión escrita el 28 de Junio de 2021
Stayed in building 6 suite 406B. BED BUGS! Was there 6/20-6/27. Called when we left on Sunday (27th) and informed them! Hope they took the necessary steps to clean. We didn’t realize what it was until Saturday! But GROSS! Also when we arrived on the 20, couldn’t check in until 7:30. They had a lot of people call out so not many to help clean for turnover! Not really their fault but it still sucked to wait so long to get into your room after traveling. Bathrooms weren’t very clean either but at some point you just want to unpack and settle in.
Very close to activities but bed bugs and unclean bathrooms make it hard to leave a good review.
