Avoid staying here. Our room smelled badly and was poorly equipped. All towels, bedding and floors were damp, like there was high humidity in the room, but AC was blasting cold air upon arrival. Unpleasant odor from the heat/AC unit. No hand soap in the bathroom. One small garbage can in whole room. Ice machine on second floor was extremely loud and could be heard down the hallway and into our room. Terrible smells in the stairwell as well

I checked into the hotel late on Friday night. We got up to the room and because of my asthma and bronchitis I instantly smelled mold. I called down to the front desk and the phone rang for about a total of 20 minutes as I hung up and called back repeatedly. When someone answered the phone, I informed her of the issue. She never apologized and stated that they did not have another room to move me to. I went online to try to find another hotel but everything was sold out. So we had to stay. I put my mask on for the remainder of the night. Immediately the next morning I got up and called to the desk. I spoke with the Front Office Manager and I began to tell him the problem, he cut me off and said the night shift had already informed him. I then asked do you have another room. He said not right now the housekeepers have to get here and eat before they start their day. I informed him that we were going to pack our things and leave the room. He said the room should be ready by 11:00. So we left the room and stopped at the desk to speak with him in person. I showed him the pictures in which he asked for and he never apologized. He stated I will take something off the rate. My husband informed him that no one should have had to stay in a room in that condition and informed him that the rate should be zeroed out. He refused and told us to come back at 12pm to be moved to another room. My husband then asked do they not inspect the rooms he stated “they only inspect the rooms to see if they are clean”. My husband said so they do not check for issues such as mold? He then stated “no we only inspect the rooms for cleanliness, we do not know of any issues unless someone such as yourself bring it to our attention.” At that point I decided to check out of the hotel completely. The mold in the room was very visible as soon as u walk in the room. I just don’t understand how a room attendant and an inspector walk in the room and report it as clean and don’t see or smell the moisture in the room and mold in the ceiling. I do not complain when staying in hotels because I travel with my own cleaning supplies but this, I had to report and share!!!! Unbelievable!!!!

This hotel is one of the worst Holiday Inn Expresses' s I have ever stayed in. Got in the elevator and the smell of sewer was strong. The room was terrible! Walked in and the smell of mildew and the dampness of the room was completely overwhelming. The carpet was wet by the air conditioning. All of the furniture in the room was broken, and the bed was terrible. I specifically stay at Holiday Inn Express's because of the comfort of the bed. The shower had mildew in it. I have never seen a building quite like this building. It was terribly built. Multiple tiles in the entryway and the bathroom felt like they were coming up. The overall hotel is just simply terrible. It needs to be taken out of the IHG system and they need to rebuild the entire property. Believe the terrible reviews for this hotel. Because they are true, DON"T STAY HERE!

Have a large group coming into area for a crew job. Worked with Paige to obtain group rate and she was very accommodating and very professional! She took care of everything and made it very easy for when my crew arrives to the property. She went above and beyond to ensure all of my needs were met!

We handle sports tournaments all over the southeast and work with hundreds of hotels. The customer service shown to us and our attendees by Paige was second to none and we will continue to book her hotel for future tournaments!
