Great night stay on the way through
We were traveling fro here to there this past Christmas holiday season and we need a place to stay 1/2 wa through. We have always stayed at Holiday Inn express and found them great and easy. This one hit all the right buttons. This hotel is one of the newer constructions and you cam almost still smell the paint drying ( or maybe it was just the sanitizer). The rooms have all the stuff the cool kids want today. USB outlets all over the place for the wireless devices. One each at either side of the bed and at the desk. In room Keurig coffee. If you need more pods just ask at the desk, They gave me a handful when I asked. Pool looked nice but it was COVID-closed. Front desk staff was very polite and friendly. the beds are very nice with a bunch of huge pillows. This hotel is just off the highway, but set in the hills so there is not traffic noise. No Jake-brakes in the middle of the night, very quite. Lots of great places to eat very close, we are at an Irish pub just on the other side of the highway. There is a Italian place there too and well as a Fridays of Applebees ( can't remember) Free breakfast in the morning, but the magic of COVID turned it into and Jimmy Deal sausage biscuit and yogurt, fruit etc in a paper bag so you could "Grab-an-Go". we took it back to the room. Overall a great place to stop and we will stop there again.
Wonderful
We’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and will be staying again in the future. Each visit has been pleasant, however, the first night we were here this time, our bathroom flooded. Immediately, Elijah came up, inspected it and moved us to a new room. He was incredibly kind and accommodating. He made our stay very pleasant. There was another man at the front desk that was very nice, as well, though I didn’t catch his name. As far as COVID and cleanliness goes, you could tell this hotel did its absolute best to keep things safe. There were signs posted everywhere, plexiglass dividers and all the employees were wearing mask. The room was also spotless. The rooms are very spacious and the bed comfortable. It’s close to restaurants and shopping, the hospital and not far from the interstate. We definitely look forward to coming back.
Great stay
Very enjoyable stay. Room was very clean, staff was friendly and even though it is by a main roadway it was very quiet. Only negative thing was that there was some mold on the shower ceiling in room 206. Other than that..... very nice place. Also here is a bonus. I was in town for surgery at the VA and my stay was free. Doesnt get any better than that.
No compassion and no grace and always cold breakfast
We stayed 4 days ago due to family member in the hospital for a hospital hotel room rate $88 per night. We have stayed multiple times at this hotel and it will be our last. The family member died and we called to get the rate for the following week to attend the funeral: that rate was $109 no different then AAA or any other discount rate. Four days ago the rate was $88 and not 4 days later the rate is $21 more per night. Talked with manager: Becky "the rates change daily". How can a hospital rate and bereavement rate change?? Anyway the hotel is clean and beds are hard and the breakfast is ALWAYS cold. Go elsewhere: you are surrounded by 5 other hotels.
Excellen Hotel and stay
We had always wanted to stay here and glad we finally did. The staff was very friendly and the room was spotless clean as was the rest of the facility. We had tried to make reservations on-line with my laptop but ran into technical problems. The gentleman at the front desk, Elijah, let me bring my laptop over to the desk to make the reservations. Upon Checkout, There was a charge on my bill, although the room was a free night, and Brittany got the charge removed. Breakfast was good as was the whole stay. Will definitely stay here again.
