Would Not Admit My Daughter to the Property
My daughter works in Brigham City. This is her busy season, so she has been working 12+ hour days, 6 days a week. She didn't finish work until about 1:15 a.m. A heavy snow storm passed through and she had to drive through a canyon to get home. She was tired and the roads were not safe, so she decided to stay at the Hampton Inn in Brigham City. When she arrived, the inner doors were locked and a sign said to use her key card which, of course, she did not have. The desk clerk looked right at her and then turned away. My daughter left the hotel and drove home. She said the roads were bad, but she made it home safely. Needless to say, we will avoid staying at any Hampton Inn, anywhere, if at all possible, even if it costs more to stay somewhere else.
Hampton Inn again but better
The room was large, the fixtures up to date and the bathroom nice and spacious with plenty of counter space and a large immaculate glass doored shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room offered a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The locale was very convenient for visiting the Migratory Bird Refuge as it was literally down the street. Breakfast was handled well in this age of COVID with us being served a simple hot breakfast.
Good hotel for our trip
Stopped in for a quick overnight on a long weekend road trip. Check in was easy with friendly staff. Room was big and comfortable with a huge shower. With Covid, breakfast was just some cold muffins, granola bars and fruit with bottled water. I can't fault them for this though.
Blah
The hotel appeared clean during these COVID times. Clearly an important aspect of today's lodging expectations. My room was missing shampoo and lotion - wasn't sure whether this was intentional or an oversight by housekeeping. The staff seemed indifferent when I checked out in the morning. The scaled back breakfast had a few decent options, but the "serving" area was tight, which made social distancing challenging.
Une honte
outrageous ..... impossible to travel in the country for a European because of the covid. but the hotel refuses to refund!!!! a shame because all the others accepted ..... I am not ready to set foot in your hotel once the trips to new possible
