Couldn’t have been better!
Reviewed 3 march, 2020
Wonderful room, fabulous view, great staff, terrific food, beautiful grounds. Couldn’t have been better. No room for improvement ( although I’m glad the cricket we found in our room during the day — at first we had no idea what the noise was, until the owner showed us the cricket — did not reappear at night!) The hotel is small, family-owned + run and a perfect place to rest ( if you, like us, do a lot of running around in Colombia!)

Good value hotel in zona rosa

I like the location, the comfortable bed, the brightness of the room, the breakfast, good wifi, good TV, refrigerator and everything. Receptionist are nice. Hotel has large banquet room for private parties and noise travel during event was an inconvenience. I will return.

Nice and clean

Nice hotel. Very small rooms but comfortable. Hotel is very clean staff very helpful although no one does speak English here in colombia working in hotels. With parking facility that makes us our holiday more comfortable and not to worry about our car left parked outside.

This is a good hotel, located in a good neighborhood of the city, near there you can find different types of restaurants to have a good meal (typical Bucaramanga food), the hotel rooms are large and always clean.

Our host reserved this hotel for us. He has just started to use it for guests. We arrived to find a very nice hotel room. I believe we had two queen-sized beds in a suite layout with a 3 step rise between two levels. One bed was on the lower level while the second bed and restroom was on the second level. The hotel had all the amenities you would expect in an American hotel with a stocked refrigerator, snacks and toiletries. Bath towels were provided, but not wash cloths (we had brought our own just in case). The room was well air-conditioned, too cool according to my daughter. The room also had a balcony overlooking the front street. Language was not much of an issue. They had at least one daytime staff working behind the desk that spoke English well enough. In the evening, the bellman spoke English. We also had a spanish-speaking host which did help but I think we would have been fine without. Breakfast was great! Eggs scrambled with your choice of ingredients each morning to go along with several hot and cold items on the buffet. And I learned to eat soup for breakfast each day since that is part of the culture. The restaurant was on the 6th floor and had a high bar that you could sit at overlooking the city. I sat there each day gazing endlessly at the city. The only negatives: one, we had a heavy day of rains on our last day that left some water on the lower level floor. It was not in the way however so we notified the staff and left it until morning. Two, we were on the front side of the building which made for a bit of a noisy start to the day (being on the street). Although it didn't bother me a lot, I would ask for something on the back side next time if it was available. And three, I would ask for a higher floor. They had a conference going on for a few days and, being on the 2nd floor, it was kind of loud into the evening.
