Stayed at Bazar for two nights in October. It had been a long time since I was in a hostel, but I didn't need much adjusting. The atmosphere is really laid back and the hostel itself is very relaxed. It has a good kitchen and a nice common area. The rooms (we had en suite) are very clean and nicely decorated. Location is good: close to the station and the centre of town. One minor point: it was rather warm inside.

Friendly environment,Loving common room and most impotanly all the people are amazing here,so much friendly and helpful. I can say It's not only a hostel,it's like family. I wish i can live here for a long time with this people. ❤ And yes public transportation, markets all things are nearby. Easy to get anything.

Booked this hostel as had previously stayed at’Big Fish’hostel, same company, had good experience there, but not here unfortunately. Asked manager if I could move to another room as I was couped up with some undesirables, dirty habits etc. She wasn’t very helpful and I had to stay. Good points+ Ok location. Laundry on ground floor. 24 hour reception. Spacious common room. Free tea/coffee. Bad points- Cramped dorm rooms. Unhelpful managers. Migrant workers/local types, dubious characters’Living there. Unpleasant, unhelpful, ageist volunteers working there(take note German blonde female?) Boy and girlfriend volunteers sitting at reception and making out in front of paying guests. Security problem-local types living there helping them selves to luggage room key and going in and out? Won’t’ be returning.

Super cozy hostel to stay. Clean, home-like, friendly and fun. In a centre of Budapest, you have everything around. It is possible to wash your clothes, free coffee and tea... Maybe of your sleep is weak, the street can be loud. Well I only recommend this friendly place to stay!
A laundry to remember

Didn't stay in the hostel, just wanted to wash some of my fresh garms. 1000 HUF for a wash and the same again to dry, seems reasonable. Bit of a shame about the availability of only 3 machines, and the consequent hefty queue... but 3 hours later my garms were good as new. Nice staff, can't comment on the hostel itself...
