Good location and affordable.
Right in the city center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but they charged extra for hot water to prepare tea (I've never seen that before). The curtain in the shower fell off and I fall on the bathtub, that is dangerous. Apart from that it's ok for a 3 stars hotel to spend a couple of days in Buenos Aires.
Absolutely Fine - Standard Three Star
Booked this when our Airbnb fell through due to electrical failure. Would not have booked if I had read the trip advisor column first so I am glad to say I think they have turned it around somewhat at Viasui. Staff were kind and tried their best with English (although you should always try your best to use the local dialect when you are the tourist anyway) they had no issue with us leaving our bags prior to check in. Room is completely basic and somewhat dated but air con keeps it cool, there is a powerful shower with hot water (remember C is for hot in South America ‘Caliente’) and a clean comfy bed, towels are replaced each day if you wish. WiFi is weak in the rooms but you can still message/ WhatsApp. If you need to download or upload to insta probably just go downstairs to the lobby, the reception WiFi is faster. We did not have the breakfast either day as the cafes around Buenos Aires are excellent. Overall for £20-£25 per night I don’t think there can be any complaints.
Dont go there!
We went there because it was on offer on booking. The hot water did not come with any instruction (very old school system for a 3 star hotel). Then the guys at the desk laughed at my husband when he asked of he was speaking english... Which i think was very unprofessional (specially for a 3 star hotel). The service was not great - the staff did not care much about our complaints regarding the hot water (thankfully we were there for only the weekend). The isolation was so bad in our room that we could hear the people slamming their door or taking a shower or flushing their toilets. The location is good but in some parts it looks very much like a ghetto.
So-so
I didn't choose this one but other one. By the way 'the other one's staff' took me here for the reason why there were no room that night~ The room was not bad. My room was at the end of the floor, the wifi signal was not strong. Staffs were kind. My schedule was so tight that I had to get to the Buquebus terminal early. So the breakfast time which begins at 7 a.m. was a little late for me. But the staff kindly open it 20 minutes early for me that I might have breakfast. 5 minutes walking from the Obelisco. And it looked like a little dangerous after dark around the hotel. There were nothing special to see from my window.
Awful, there are better places
Tiny, rundown rooms. Bathroom dirty and mouldy. Ancient Elevators with an annoying alarm when the door wasn't closed properly that would wake everyone up. Bad breakfast, even worse than most places in Argentina. Unsafe location! A friend that was travelling with me had stuff stolen out of her room.
