I booked and paid for a King suite but was given a queen. The pool was not working which caused my 5 year old to cry and me to spend a butt load of money in the overpriced gameroom. They advertise an outdoor jacuzzi on their website and sign but have filled in with concrete for a stupid corn hole game. This too made my daughter cry. I had a stained comforter on the bed. I asked for a reduction in my bill and for management to contact me NEITHER of which has happened as of yet. We checked out around 10 am Thursday. As of 6:10 pm Saturday, I still haven't heard from anyone at the hotel either by email or phone.

Room was spotlessly clean. Love these little kitchenette set ups as I pack as much healthy food as I can for my time on the road & the full size fridge is handy. Slept well on very comfortable bed w/triple sheets & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Free wifi w/great signal, plenty of easily accessible outlets and enough work space to attend to business without feeling cramped. But more importantly, I cannot begin to say enough nice things about the young men at the front desk. Jason was the perfect combination of friendly & efficient at check-in, which is a welcome relief after a long day on the road. Next morning, John went out of his way on my behalf & printed off some much needed paperwork with cheery "No problem, glad to help you out!" and I was quickly on my way. Highly recommend & will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area.

I stayed at the Candlewood suites hotel for 4 days. There was a volleyball tournament and the whole team was able to have a room there. It was a nice hotel with a conference room and a small arcade. There was also a shop on the main floor. It was a clean hotel but outdated and a little bit worn down. There was a kitchenette that had a full size fridge with an ice maker, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a small stove. It also had dishes. Overall, a good hotel.

Overbooked...lost our rooms

There system overbooked rooms. Got a call as we were on our way with family for a funeral. Booked it 2 days prior for multiple rooms but not told till almost arrived. That is very bad customer be service. Won't attempt to stay there in the future.

The Candlewood was very nice for our week. The front desk was very friendly all through out our stay. They have fresh cookies (wrapped) for guests. The room was clean although only 2 knifes no forks or spoons, asked for silverware and only received 1 fork, she couldn’t find anymore. We do have a car bag that we have our own. The pool was nice…..however the hot tub went down after our second night, and we were informed it would not be back running til after the first of the year. Complementary laundry was great as was the fitness room. We will stay again on any long term trips through Missouri.
