Fantastic beach club

My friend and I were staying in another hotel by Solmar but had access to the beach club of the resort and it was amazing. We loved Ariel’s activities like water aerobics and the lazy challenges. The waiters around the pool were friendly and attentive, and chatted to us in Spanish which was great as we are learning. The view of the sea is amazing, we literally saw whales from our sun beds. Thank you!!!!
Solmar Resort...my home away from home!!

Solmar Resort has maintained my "Favorite Resort in Cabo" status for many years now! I love the top floor/corner rooms...views are beautiful! The front desk manager Luis is well aware of my many "quirks" and always makes sure my stay is safe, comfortable and relaxing. The masks can not hide the bellboys smiles when I arrive! Juan was my first friend at Solmar! He is so helpful and knows that he has to program everything in my room since I can not even figure out the thermostat after all these years!!! Marco also is so very helpful....always willing to weigh my suitcases before I head to the airport! I am so pleased that Alfredo is still working the pool bar!! He has taken such awesome care of me and also my friends and family that I have brought to Solmar. He is always smiling and brings what I need without me having to ask.(water, ice, shrimp cocktail, coke, pina colada...repeat...hahaha) Seriously ....he knows exactly what the guests want and keeps an eye out for "almost empty" drinks. I adore him to pieces!! Geraldo and Arturo are also super ! At the 2 restaurant's Susanna , Maggie, Daniel and Pico are the stars!!! They also know what I want !! They are ready to please all of the diners! The housekeepers are excellent also ! I had Elo and loved her!
2nd time At Solmar

We had so much fun on our trip without the kiddos in Aug 2021 that we had let them experience Solmar only 4 months later! Ariel is such a sweet entertainment host! He helped our kids with ceramics and was so patient. Our 2 and 5 year old only had the best things to say about Ariel as they painted a unicorn and the "Hulk" coin banks. All of the other guests and staff were so kind to our young crew. We enjoyed the food! Our kiddos love a simple California roll and the sushi bar delivered as usual! The drinks are delicious and refreshing. We love the humble atmosphere! Our little family made so many memories here and we look forward to future adventures at Solmar.
Possibly one of the best all inclusive resorts in Cabo.

I had the best experience in this all inclusive resort. Great hospitality from the staff especially Arturo. He was our host and he made our last two days great. He was very accommodating and made sure we are taken cared of. I would definitely come back here and possibly bring more friends and family.
Be Aware - Aggressive Cancelation Policy

During these uncertain times, I strongly recommend finding another hotel with a flexible and understanding cancelation policy. Due to a last-minute Covid-19 infection, one of my parties was unable to travel. The trip was canceled, and the hotel's policy (for better or worst) kept 100% of the reservation. I lost $800, and no credit was offered either. Just a plain, aggressive and straightforward approach. You reserve it, pay it, and it is on you. If you make it or not, they will keep your money in return for nothing. The email communication with the hotel prior to the cancelation was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. It is too bad, it seems like a good place to visit, but I guess I will never know now.
