Hotel Cabreúva Resort

For a place that calls itself a "Resort" we found it wanting in almost all respects. We arrived about 15min before dinner closing time, and yet the receptionist insisted that we had to fill out a very long admission form (the booking was payed in advance and they already had most of our personal data, still). By the time we got to the restaurant most of the options were out (IMO this is also inadmissible) giving us that end-of-service feeling, but my son and pregnant wife had to eat something. The room was ok, and the bathroom looked like it was renovated recently, and so was the AC and other appliances, however the room was right next to the elevator (not a regular cable system elevator, so a very noisy one and it operates *VERY* slowly) so we keep hearing it all through the night through the wall. The main building seem to be a very old one, stairs everywhere, even on the entrance to the restaurant, so accessibility was next to none (except the elevator). They have nice enough equipment in the recreation room (pool table, table tennis, foosball and one of those air tables with floating disks) and they lend you the rackets, balls, etc, but you have to go all the way to reception to get them (3 stories up!!!). We didn't let our son with the hotel recreation team, so we can't really comment on it. My son did enjoy using the trampoline and bikes from the hotel. The food was another disappointment: nothing really special. Very plain food, no pasta or steak station preparing on the spot, and very few options. Even the Feijoada served on Saturday lunch was way too salty and the some of it (the pig's ears and tongue) were not tender. The pools are ridiculously small for a "resort" and quite frankly the indoor pool didn't looked very clean. There's a very limited "kitchen" with a microwave and some baby formula (Ninho) to prepare baby bottles. No fruits, juice or any healthy sugar-free options. Just water. In summary, for an hotel, one could rate it as 'ok', but this is clearly not resort material. Probably the best thing on the trip didn't happen at the hotel, it was our visit to the Chocolate Farm nearby.

I´ve spent a weekend there.What a great Weekend!The hotel is very clean,the food is delicious,the recreation team for kids are spetacular,definitely,I loved everything at this hotel. The hotel is big, full of recreational activities and also it has two pools.It has an indoor pool and a outside pool.That´s good because one day during the weekend was rainning so we could enjoy the indoor pool with the kids. I´m already planning to return there! Me and my family loved the Hotel Cabreuva Resort!

Friendly space, good infrastructure, kids activities planner, several things to do. Weekend package price-wise was ok. Some performances from the kids planner were "not that kid oriented"... but it was funny. Food is good as well.

Gostamos muito do Hotel. Todos os funcionários foram muito gentis e atenciosos, principalmente com minha filha que fez aniversário. Agradecemos toda a atenção, paciência e dedicação com ela... toda a equipe de Lazer, monitores, e principalmente o pessoal do restaurante e cozinha. Não temos reclamações.

Final de semana no hotel Cabreúva Resort foi maravilhoso! Equipe de recreação fantástica! Hotel limpo, organizado e com muitas atividades tanto para os adultos como para as crianças. Um ponto a melhorar seria permitir a entrada de pet de pequeno porte. Do mais, super recomendo!!!
