Easy access from motorway, clean and comfortable
We stayed for one night before attending a wedding on the Rock. Access from the nearby motorway was excellent and less than a minute. Check in was friendly and quick, parking was free. The room was typical of the chain, a good size, clean, comfortable with a great en suite. It’s on a commercial park so don’t expect excellent views, nearby bars or restaurants. There is a shopping centre and cinema within 2 mins walk which had numerous fast food outlets, an Asian cuisine restaurant and an Italian. There is a very large Carrefour about a minutes drive away. Interestingly in the foyer of the hotel is a an ice machine, buckets provided by reception. The included breakfast is continental of course but certainly lacked any appeal for me and I stuck to coffee. Our friends dined in the hotel the night before we arrived and said the food was very good and reasonably priced. This is a budget no frills hotel which provides and delivers exactly what you expect.
The well deserved rest
For the last stop in our road trip we chose this Hotel to rest 15min from Gibraltar, where we wanted to go. The area is quiet, lots of parking places, the receptionist was super kind and fast in our check-in/out, she helped us with some visit tips. The room was perfet, well cleaned, perfet bed and bathroom. We took a well deserved night sleep. The breakfast was Ok.
Nice Hotel - Excellent staff
Hotel was in a great location, easy for use to walk to different areas. Hotel was very clean excellent staff. Breakfast was limited but very good. Would stay here again. Beds were very comfortable. Easy to find
Standard, very good HI Express
Nice, standard Holiday Inn Express some 20 minutes from Gibraltar. Friendly and very good service, clean rooms and very accessible prices. Nothing outstanding but a good overnight option, especially for families.
perfect as Basic
Just so much hotel you need with a very friendly staff. Can't be better to the price, clean and fresh. Nice basic breakfast included. Location is not so exciting but a small shoppingmall with restaurants are located in the next block. warmest recommended The Holiday in Express keeps high value for both business and tourists.
