Wild Rose Manor Bed & Breakfast get's a "10"!
Reviewed 8 november, 2019
CJ, Thanks for an amazing 2 nights at your home. Our room was quiet, private, and VERY comfortable! The bed was super comfortable and we woke up refreshed and rested! Having an outstanding unique breakfast both mornings "at the timing best for us" was incredible. We loved our discussions in the mornings and again in the evenings. A relaxing glass of wine and great conversation ended each of our days in the best possible way. You had attention to detail in every way and we're so glad to have shared time with you. We look forward to seeing you again the next time we come to Caldwell. -- Charlene and Curtis

We spent our 48th anniversary with our gracious hostess: CJ. What a lovely way to getaway and be pampered at breakfast with special waffles made with 150 yr. old starter or pastries with eggs and sausage or bacon. The evening sunsets and morning sun rises were beautiful! Our stay in the English Rose Room was terrific! Privacy, quiet and like being in the home of a special friend. CJ is a new special friend! The grounds are beautiful and a perfect small wedding venue. We shall return to Wild Rose!
Peace and Quiet

This was exactly what we needed relax. Our host CJ made me instantly feel comfortable and at home, she has such a calm, warm energy. On our first night when we arrived she offered us a glass of wine and made homemade hummus to serve with chips. We had a wonderful conversation, she also gave us a tour of her beautiful B&B encouraging us to enjoy all the home's common rooms! Our room was decorated with such special touches and the bed seemed to pull me into a deep sleep every night and nap. CJ asked us what time we would like breakfast, which is different that most B&B's with set times to eat. CJ was so comfortable in the kitchen, moved with ease that as we sat at the granite kitchen counter the conversation flowed and it it seem as if the food magically appeared, everything was fresh, healthy, delicious and filling it was the only meal we required each day besides the snacks we brought along. Her huge comfy deck was a hummingbird haven and I can't forget her dear mascot Otis the dog and Smudge the cat that put on quite a show for us! I chose to spend an afternoon sitting on the grass petting the goats and watching the chickens, completely losing myself in those surrounding and feeling the stress fly away with the humming birds. This is a must do for locals, and those traveling as well. I loved every minute there, the spectacular home, meals and as Dorothy whispered into the scarecrows ear in the Wizard of OZ.... CJ I miss you most of all! We will be back!
Wonderful Place To Stay

While traveling across country in our classic car my husband and I needed a place to stay, on very short notice CJ happily put us up for the night in the "Rosebud" room. CJ was very welcoming and we has a very comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent! CJ even took note of my celiacs offering me other options. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again if we are ever in the are again!
