Pleasantly surprised
I booked for two nights and ended up staying for 6. The staff is excellent! Well-trained, thoughtful and exceedingly helpful. Due to Covid, the breakfast offering is limited, but overall I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for excellent value.
Family trip
Everything is ok just the breakfast. Should have more choices like to go fresh fruits, cup oatmeal and bottled juices and milk/choco milk. Cant remember if ther was any muffins or breads but i am pretty sure there was none. It would be nice if they have this choices too so the rate with breakfast is worth it. Other than that everything is good
Friendly staff, clean and well maintained
The staff were very friendly and helpful! The bed was fantastically comfortable--firm yet comfy. And everything was clean and well-maintained. But be warned, the free breakfast is pared down to just a few, safe items because of COVID. Would definitely stay again.
Filthy Room
After arriving to our room and already getting children to bed, we noticed dried on white gunk on one of the bed runners. I brought it down to front desk and she was “sorry”, assuring me that beds are not remade with dirty linens. After my children were sleeping, my husband wanted to have a shower and found multiple spots of snot and/or other bodily fluids on the shower curtain. These are EASILY removable and should be washed EVER time, especially during these times. Again, front desk was “sorry” and manager offered to discount 15% off the first of our 2 nights. This is UNACCEPTABLE. No one should ever pay to stay in a filthy room, where you have to remove what you know is dirty. Then there is always the certainty that if you can SEE that much filth, more is there. In response to another review, “I guess this is normal” about poor breakfast- No it is not. Try Best Western or Holiday Inn hotels where they are making more of an effort, and often have a staff member dishing out the hot items because of restrictions. For sure, many hotels are using this as an excuse to provide poor service, while others are using it as an opportunity to prove they can deliver, even during tough times. Many are providing decent breakfasts (it just might cost them an extra staff member, but they are going the extra mile!), and keeping their pools open. Enough with excuses. We have been to enough hotels. It’s time to work with your circumstances.
