Casa Das Calhetas

Situated on the north coast of the island of S. Miguel, by the sea, the house of the calhetas, is a construction of the century. XVIII (1723). Solarenga in the moth, has always been home from morgados. The north-northeast views offer an impressive scenery on the Atlantic, the north coast of the island and the Serra da Lagoa de Fogo. The views to the southwest, open a completely different scenery on the only convent of Clausura of the Azores and the magnificent centenary garden of the house. Decorated with simplicity, guards the taste of the rural wealthy houses of the Azorean rural.
