NOT A 4* Plus Hotel

We visited in October22. This hotel has so much potential to be a 4* plus hotel. At present I would say it has just skimmed a 4* from us. We upgraded to a sunset premium room. BAD POINTS; I emailed the hotel a week before we travelled requesting a higher floor if possible. We didn't get a higher floor even though there were empty rooms above us. We did not even receive a reply from the management. Never saw or met the manager all the time we were there. Maybe this could be because the hotel is being taken over by Reverence Hotels. I didn't like the cashless system they have in place at the moment. I felt it wasn't secure enough. Very uncomfortable hard chairs on the balcony of an upgraded room. Small mirror in bathroom hanging off the wall. I didn't use it in case it fell off altogether. Rooms were not cleaned very well. Floors dirty. Rubbed over with dirty mops. Surely in this day and age of covid, tiles on floors should be steam cleaned. It would also keep the grouting clean and not ingrained dirt. Items not working properly, eg Kettle faulty, one socket not working, had to complain about the air conditioning. The lock on the main door was not working properly from day 1, reported 3 times until eventually we couldn't get into our room! Drain smells on the evening. we realised it was the drain from the shower so on an evening after using our towels we put the over the drains to dull out the smell. Lift to roof top, vending machine and small bin filthy. No waiter service in the bar on an evening. No entertainment at al of any kind. Drinks very expensive 19 euros for vodka tonic and a gin and lemonade! Lose and cracked tiles on the roof top terrace. No bar service there. Not many sun shades for the amount of sunbeds. 2 between 12 sunbeds and they were fixed in place so you couldn't move them. Dining room too small for the amount of clients, tables crammed together. Lots of queueing, for tea/coffee. Tea and coffee should be brought to the table by staff if this is a 4* plus hotel. Ive been in 3* hotels that provided this service Queue for toast then queue for hot (warm) food. Far too much queueing. Your meals are cold before you even start it! Chip,chips and more chips. Chips for breakfast!. Not enough choice of fresh veg, not covered in oil or butter available Meats are not very good quality. I got a sirloin steak one night. It was sliced as thin as they could possibly slice it.Fatty and gristly. It was NO steak! GOOD POINTS: Great Resort! Beautiful beach A little hilly so may not suit all. There was lots of nightlife if you wanted it. Jet 2 rep Sue suggested McTavishes Bar. We had some really good nights there. I recommend going to see Apple and the pips. They were a great band to listen too. Lovely restaurants to suit everyone's tastes. Hotel room we had was very spacious with plenty of storage decent sized balcony. Our side seaview balcony was lovely. Meals from pool bar was very good .Lovely staff Hotel in a good position for amenities. Main hotel very clean Lovely comfortable bed. Slept like a baby. Enjoyed the roof pool terrace (abeite the cleanliness) it was quiet and got the sunshine all day unlike other pools around the hotel in October Enjoyed the lovely fresh salads, fruits and cakes, ( no pouring cream tho) I would definitely return to this resort as we enjoyed it so much. Would I stay at this hotel again, probably not unless they listened to customer feedback and changed the negatives

Second time at this hotel and didn’t disappoint, recognised a few friendly faces from previous visit and it was nice to be acknowledged as a returned visitor. The hotel is clean, tidy with friendly staff. The food was lovely, seemed to cater for everyone, always found something to eat which was always freshly cooked, staff work tirelessly to make sure everything never ran out. The hotel is situated on a slight incline. The hotel is located at the nicer end of the bay. Very close to beach

went to the Senses hotel last week in Santa Ponsa. Easy flight out and transfer to hotel. Receptionist booked us in and we went to our room. One of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Lots of room - 2 double beds - fridge and balcony. Beds extremely comfy with no-one complaining about having back ache; View from balcony amazing (was called a side sea view). Food fantastic (cruise ship quality). Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff very polite and upbeat. Would definitely go here again. Lovely.

Stayed here with friends and generally speaking we really enjoyed our stay. Just a few things that meant a 4 star review. Positives: entire place is really clean including our room. We stayed in Comfort Twin with side sea view and it was nice to see the sea. Beds were really comfy. Bathroom a good size. 2 different shower heads to chose which was nice. Free glass of cava on arrival, nice touch. Always got beds at the pool though some people did put towels down for hours. Location is great with a short walk to the beach and a good shop within 100m. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. We didn’t eat dinner there. All staff were really lovely. I also used the spa and had a lovely massage. Negatives: Pool bar was expensive for food (which was only ok) and drinks. Pool and bar closed at 6 and cleaning staff started cleaning the pool around 5. Really made you feel like you were in their way, though they never said anything. FYI - we got taxi to Palma for about €26. Only took 20 mins. Well worth the cost instead of bus. Also went to Palmanova one night which was worth it.

This hotel is superb. The location is next to the beach (2 mins walk), near all amenities and has everything you need for a great holiday. This hotel is immaculately clean and the food is very good. The staff are friendly, efficient and there's a nice atmosphere here. We've been 4 times now. The facilities are just fantastic and so well looked after. Get booking would be my recommendation!
