5 stars for location and service, 3 1/2 for decor. Hotel is dated but the rooms are clean and the staff is fantastic! We stayed 5 nights. The location is perfect a short walk to the Moonstone Beach, & downtown Cambria. The reception area has a nice long table, we played cards every night. A great gathering spot. Would for sure stay again! Also wish they had a fitness facility:)

So happy with our stay here. Chris was so welcoming at the front desk. Room was big and very clean. Easy access to the boardwalk and the ocean. Loved looking for moonstones and watching the surfers. Walked to a great restaurant and also to town. Would recommend.

What a great hotel! Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a larger king suite without even asking. The room was huge, very clean, and faced the back of the resort towards a wooded area. Very quiet and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The resort was right on the boardwalk which has great views. We went back during sunset and found a bench with a glass of wine in hand. I would also recommend the outdoor hot tub on the second floor! We will definitely return when in Cambria!

Place was clean for the most part. The bathroom was very clean and nice which was the first reason i booked this hotel. The bed was very squeaky. The base of the bed had stains. A/c was leaking freon on the wall. Stains on the wall. Didn’t have a view from my room. Just trees and bushes. Walk was not too far from the beach. They had their own parking garage. Was disappointed with the breakfast from a meal service company. They did not even include condiments. It was the type of breakfast i regret paying for.
Great place to call 'home' while visiting Cambria and the wine country of Paso Robles

This was our second visit... the staff has always been consistently helpful towards the enjoyment of our stays. The location is on the ocean side of the main highway, while Cambria is just across the highway, which means we had convenient access to a variety of local restaurants without having to stay 'in town'. It's possible to hear distant waves at night from an open window, but on our latest stay there was some nearby construction work during the day. It's also just down the road from State Route 46, which takes one through wine country and ultimately to Paso Robles - perfect for wine tasting trips! The rooms are comfortable and very clean. When we had too much of very late night party sounds from a neighbor, a call to the front desk led quickly to a quiet night after all. The rooms are a bit pricey, but we prefer to err on the side of quality versus saving every last possible dollar.
