Cuando llegas,te parece de cuento,el edificio,los jardines,las fuentes.Se trata de un college y las habitaciones si responden a esa categoria,son pequeñas y cuentan con lo imprescindible...y ademas no tienen ascensor,asi que procurar que os den en las plantas inferiores.Pero quitando esos inconvenientes el placer de pasear por los inmensos jardines,jugar al croquect( o intentarlo) y desayunar en un salon inmenso con chimenea gigante,y atendido por personal perfectamente uniformado,hacen que te sientas dentro de una pelicula.

Wonderful food

Me and my partner went out for our anniversary dinner and I couldn’t fault the food! With my partner being allergic to a lot of different foods it’s often hard to find somewhere to cater for our needs. However we was speaking to a chef, Chris (who we think was temporary) and he couldn’t be more helpful. We was asking all types of questions on a very busy night. He couldn’t of been more helpful and catered to our every need. The food and staff was wonderful and really made our anniversary one to remember.

Don’t expect a Hotel , more like student accommodation

Very disappointing looks great up the drive and from the outside , but beware internally it’s shocking . When you walk in and look right the dining room is like being at Harry Potters ,long lines of tables , what!!! I booked dinner in the evening for 7.30 when I got there only bar snacks , I was not told that. Don,t talk about the so called bar , it reminds me of my headmaster’s office back in the 60,s. The rooms remind me of being in a side ward at an NHS hospital I cannot believe this is advertised as a Hotel , maybe a 2 star Large bed and breakfast.

Beautiful setting, facade and front drive give so much expectation, but the accommodation is not of this day. Rooms, service and breakfast very basic and not enough water pressure to allow a decent shower. So disappointed. Will not return. Such a shame.

The outside of the hotel looks amazing, it looks like you are going to sleep in a castle. But that is not what will happen! We had room 62 tugged away in the depts of the hotel, the room is not really of this time any more. Paint was falling down / spiders in the shower en the bed was simply said really bad! The springs inside are from 1950 so they have to be. Refurbished! The breakfast is in a Harry Potter like setting but really basic, we wouldn’t go back
