Don’t go there
Reviewed 13 june, 2022
Me and my sister booked for one night because our flight got delayed. Our room had a heavy smell of mold in there so I couldn’t stay because I got a migraine and couldn’t breath because of mold. My sister said she’ll try to sleep there because we were broke and really tired, I just stayed in the lobby reading and drinking coffee. A bit later my sister says there are cockroaches in our room and I went to look and saw then too. We checkd out and the receptionist was very friendly, until we said our room smelled like mold and had cockroaches, then he became very rude and angry at us, send security to our room and then accused us of smoking inside which we did not do. He told us we can’t get any money back. Also, the bed sheets were very dirty.

DO NOT GO THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS

I had a reservation at the Junior city express in Cancun for 10 nights. I got on a plane on thinking everything is confirmed and I was expected to have a room at this hotel. My airport transfer dropped me off to the hotel and a lady in reception named America informed me my booking had been cancelled by city express because of some sort of made up issue with my card. I just want to clarify that there is nothing wrong with my card and it works normally. On booking.com it did not give me an option to pre-pay the only option was pay at property. Which brings me to my next issue, why were city express trying to take funds out of my card and even cancelling my ENTIRE reservation when I was due to pay at property. Meanwhile, I spent 1 hour of my time being told at the hotel by America and another lady who I am assuming is the supervisor who was extremely rude to me and ignored me while I was literally very upset and explained to them I am a solo female traveller and they had no sympathy whatsoever. Perhaps that lady was the one who cancelled my reservation because she could not look me in the eye once. I was treated so disgusting I would not wish that on another human being. America told me there are no rooms available even though 1 hour ago my reservation was still confirmed. I showed them my email reservation and asked if we could proceed with my booking because I could not believe what was going on. They basically told me who is a female who is solo travelling to leave and go elsewhere. At that point I had been up for almost 24 hours travelling. These people in reception had no human understanding and wasted 1 hour of my time. Perhaps they saw I was a booking a room for one person and cancelled my booking to give to someone else perhaps for 2 people so they can make more money. Do not waste your time with these heartless people

Top 2 worst hotel experience of my life

My flight was delayed, so by the time I got to the hotel I hadn't slept in almost 24 hours. The front desk attendant, Daniele, could not "find" my reservation, even though I had the reservation via email and the hotels.com app. After over a half an hour of not knowing what was going on at 3 a.m. I asked her to just give me a discount on another room and I would pay twice because I was exhausted and desperate. She double charged me for the second room, so I ended up paying over $150 USD for a room that smelled so musty and had an eyelash on the toilet for only about 4 hours of sleep. I found out later that they do not accept late checkins. Why? So, if travelers are delayed at the airport, you just double charge them if they arrive after midnight and give no refunds? Then, I get to my destination to find that they had kept my passport at the front desk. No one bothered to tell me when I checked out; no one bothered to call me; so I had to travel back to Cancun to get it. Luckily, I live In Playa del Carmen so I could do it. I understand this is my responsibility, but the customer service and the total disregard for travelers who just want a safe night's stay and no refund, no discount, nothing after having a flight delay that was completely out of my control is sickening. OH - and to top it all off, forget the "free" WIFI. It wasn't working. So I was unable to tell my travel companion where I was - had to go to the mall to get it done. SKIP THIS NIGHTMARE HOTEL.

One night stay

We were in Cancun for a layover, this hotel serves it's purpose. It's simple and clean. There is a mall a cross the street with lot's of food options and entertainment for a one night stay. We got a first floor room and surprisingly it was very quiet and conformable. I've stayed here twice. The bus station is about 5 mins away, there you can catch a bus to the airport for $70 pesos (about 3 USD) and you will be at the airport in 30 mins. Very convenient.

Total disaster

I booked a room for my wife and her experience at this hotel was a total disaster. To start witth..while registering at the front desk she experience poor customer service by staff. Once in the rom she found out that there was a strong humid odor and humidity spots on the celling. But that was not all...she found a centipede inside her room!!! The only thing good about this hotel is that there’s a mall within walking distance.
