We love coming to GR Solaris. The staff is amazing and making sure everything is taking care of. Fernando and David M go over and above for their guest! The entertainment staff including Jonah, Orfa, Ruben are wonderful and a large part of why we love this place. They always make afternoons by the pool unforgettable! And I can’t forget the evening shows with all the staff, so much fun. Also the waiters and waitress, cooks, cleaning staff like Henry, Luis, Leo, Lupitta and Obilia always do their best to make sure you are taking care of. We take a group of 10-14 with us and we always have the best time! Thank you GR Solaris for having the BEST employees!

The staff in this place works so hard to keep you happy. A special shout out to the servers Yovani Manzas and Mr. Naranjo, they stood out amongst the staff and always went the extra mile. The entertainment staff also did a very good job at keeping us entertained and included. They also had a different show and live music every night that was always entertaining. Felipe helped us find a couple of good excursions at the activity desk. Our maid service did a really good job of cleaning and room service was always fast and delicious. The beach area for the hotel was small and not very good for swimming, but that’s okay because the pool was awesome. My only small complaint was that the drinks were always way too sweet for me. I think this place was good value for what we paid for it.

Went to GR Solaris and was immediately greeted with warm welcome and smiles. Told our receptionist Isauno that is was my birthday and he upgraded our stay!! Beautiful hotels, beautiful city ! We will be back! Thanks Isauno!

Love the kids club especially Renata. My kids are in love with her. Such a sweet girl and a huge help for us. Claudia and Isa are also the best. They made possible for us to relax in the pool while they entertain them. Love this!!!

8 the time staying here

We've stayed at GR for the last 8 years. The difference this year has me thinking l might be looking for a different resort. Let me start with the good, they have remodeled the rooms I love the ceiling fan & big screen tv, but there are no drawers to put your clothes away (you can hang up something's & there is a very narrow shelf in the closet) The doors are definitely not a soft close & you need to put a towel at the bottom or it's like having a giant night light. Who thought a weighted bedspread was a good idea WRONG. Beds are super hard (not firm) Noise in the hallways is pretty much constant from about 10-3:00am (bring back security walking the halls). I love a buffet, but the first 3 nights we were there I lived on potatoes, mixed vegetables & butter bread (why did you stop the fresh pasta bar). Nothing on the small buffet looked appetizing. The breakfast buffet was the saving grace (thank you Obilia for making my delicious omelet) the service was excellent. Breakfast use to start at 6:30 now it's 8:15 (why?) I really miss the coffee bar that use to be 4-6pm. They had a martini cart one night that was interesting, would have loved to try some different drinks, but when I ask what nights it was available, It's suppose to be here everyday. (stayed 7 days seen it once) Last complaint (I promise) because the swim up bar didn't open till 11:00am people brought glass beer bottles & full size glass alcohol bottles in pool area. Not safe. The service again was excellent & I loved the entertainment staff. I have been in love with this place but this past vacation was a big disappointment.
