This is the first time we visited Cancun , beautiful views and friendly staffs here. The staffs at pool , at the restaurants —especially the waiters are very very friendly! We were so relax for our thanksgiving break, really enjoy , probably the only beach we will visit again .
Some good, some bad, but poor value for the cost

Got a great deal here as we booked in March through Cheap Carribean when on sale. The infinite club is worth it for the beach area access and service there alone. Otherwise the "infinite lounge" was not too impressive, pretty small, unimpressive, and just not worth climbing the large set of stairs required to get there from the north elevator. In addition, no handrails whatsoever on these stairs. Infinite club did allow us to get easy restaurant reservations on a daily basis, although maybe the ease was due to the fact that we like to eat late. In terms of drinks, they I am a beer drinker and corona was served resort wide-not bad compared to some lower end resorts. My wife drinks mixed drinks, and actually found on numerous occasions that the pool drinks, and those served in common areas were better than those served at the Sun Club and Infinite lounge. The upgraded mini bar was ok, but pretty cheesy. They do bring a variety of hard liquor shooters along with a small bag of made in Mexico chips, cookies and a kit kat bar (not the same), They also bring waters, sodas and beers-usually about 6 small waters, one huge/akward 1.5 liter water; 2-3 cokes and 1-2 sprites; 4 coronas and 2 modelos. This was restocked to those quantities only,so if you had any leftover from previous day and are hoping for more the next-forget it. Not a big deal, as you can call anytime to have more delivered-although timing of delivery is uncertain, and they will be warm. We had consistent minibar refill service 8 days out of 10, so not bad. Housekeeping service is great-consistent service, and they never forgot to come back after we told them we weren't quite ready (late sleepers), "one more hour, please." Turn down service a bit of a joke-they left tiny little gross chocolates on bed, and put out the cheap sandals on a towel which I always ended up having to move out of the way-nice gestures, but again-cheesy. The room service feature is a definite bonus, although I believe this is offered to all guests, regardless of upgrade to Infinite. Pretty good menu of basic lunch/dinner/desert options- quality is good, and they had really good burgers and pizza-which is unbelievable as I am a burger and pizza snob and have never had a good one of either previously in Mexico! They've definitely got those down-and resort wide I should mention. Do not expect American style mayo, ketchup, or ranch dressing, though-bring your own if it's that important. Breakfast from room service is the best-better thank going down to the buffet in person-they will bring you whatever you ask for in whatever quantities, and it's delivered usually within 25 minutes-no later than 45. Be specific if you want extra butter or syrups, etc. The bacon, pancakes, french toast, omelets and hashbrowns are all excellent-best I've ever had in Mexico. The sausage is more of a chorizo variety-so don't get your hopes up if you're a Jimmy Dean kinda person. Tried it once, then went right back to the bacon! The syrups they bring are in small, clean containers-and very good. Down in the buffet they have unlabled cups of gross looking syrup with a small sticky tablespoon to get your syrup. Very dirty, unsanitary, and just unbelievable-every time we went. Several other issues with buffet-the service there was the poorest we experienced (went three times for breakfast, twice for dinner). Seating was random, and it is multilevel-if you were unlucky enough to be able to sit outside, or in the lower level area- that means you are going up and down stairs (again mostly without handrails) carrying your plate/s of food a long way back. By the time you get there, it will be a lot less warm... Service at buffet was minimal-lucky to get your water filled once, much less refilled-again-this was on numerous visits. Waiter hard to find, when given requests (more water, extra butter) would never come back, or if they did come back- would ask if you were enjoying your meal! What's really irritating is that these employees all come trained to respond to your every request, or thanks with the quote "it is my pleasure". In every encounter, this is the case-and it bothers me a lot, especially when saying that is the only consistent aspect of the service. If the service was given right the first or even second time, it would matter a lot more than hearing "it is my pleasure". This is something for them to address in their orientation dept. By the way, you will not find butter, in any form, in the buffet at any time of day-fyi. Dinner buffet advise-stay away. The bbq night was ok, but nothing special-ok ribs, thin chicken and not so good flank steak served on outside grill area. Have to say the folks at Coral Cafe are great, awesome service and desserts all day/night long. Ice cream machine there is so great-another first for us in Mexico. They also have good sandwhiches usually made and ready within 20 minutes. The service there though was the best. They also have nice coffees/etc. Pool bar-Sunset (furthest north) bar is the best! awesome quick service, and they make as great of food and drinks as anywhere else on resort-those guys are all awesome! Again, service at Infinite club beach area was great-a little slow at times, but not too bad- and they took great care of us and our belongings when in the water as the rain started. Valet parking was great-very quick and polite The rooms are nice, but don't expect a private balcony-we had to pay to upgrade to one of the few-very few-private balcony rooms in the resort. Look closely at the pictures of the resort-and don't come here if you expect/want a private balcony. Maybe 10 percent of the rooms (randomly scattered) and no way to guarantee getting one. The Italian restaurant ok-just don't expect a quick meal or great entertainment. This is my opinion-but the vibe there was pretty cheesy again-for the cost. Whatever you do, don't get the lasagna dinner-unless you like Chef-boy-ardee- I kid you not-took me right back to lunch at elementary school. Wife took a bite and agreed-it's a distinctive flavor. Steak restaurant I would not recommend-food even worse, entertainment disappointing for the cost of this trip. Service slow as well. Isla Contoy seafood was alright-but limited menu choices, and again-service slow and disappointing. The Mexican restaurant (La Joya) was the best-experience for sure-the mariachi band that goes around from table to table was excellent and unforgettable! The food and drink service was excellent as well-at least one of the specialty restaurants was worth visiting. Sadly, we went there on our last night, lol. Last note-I know they have covid rules to follow, but the elevator button pusher on bottom floor is a ridiculous and dumb process. always someone at ground level to walk into your elevator and ask you what floor only to push the button (while invading your "social distance". The thing is, about a third of the time they weren't quick enough (distracted or whatever) to push the button on the outside, then would rush in to try to hit your floor button-once again invading your social distance (if you really care about this now that we are vaccinated). On top of that, there is no elevator button pusher on your room floor, so up there on floors 2-11 you just have to risk it and do it yourself. What a joke! Gimme a break- Thats about it, I definitely can say there were some good things about this resort, but there are some not so good things too- for the cost- I would not even rate this place a 4 star.

Julio at the bikini bar was great. Gave us great service and was on top of getting us drinks and food. Made sure my kids where taken care of and had plenty of frozen drinks. Julio helped with shopping trip advice and activities.

My group spent two days at the pool and Julio served us. He was great and so attentive the entire time. He kept checking with us if we needed any food or drinks and even offered to take pictures for us. Great service from Julio!
