The customer services at this hotel is not the best. I suggest do not stay at this place. There are a lot of other good hotels at this place. Pls allow me to elaborate below 1) There are a few specialty restaurants at this hotel. The rest is buffet style. The buffet style restaurant offer similar food everyday. As for the specialty restaurant, the reservation is open at 4pm BUT around 3pm, the line is all the way out there. Each specialty restaurant only able to accept (approximately)30-50 people. So by the times it got to my turn, they said it “full”. If you want to eat at the specialty restaurant, you have to dedicate your half of the mid-afternoon day to wait in line. To me, this is ridiculous. The hotel taking in too many people and only have limited space to accommodate. 2) the breakfast and lunch buffet are over crowded. They intentionally having one or two people behind the glasses counter to serve you food. We stayed here for 7 days and throughout my 7 days, I have observed that the line is always anywhere between 30 - 45 minutes waits for breakfast!!! Not ideal when you try to get food for your kids. Overall, food is not the best at this hotel. Very basic stuff. 3) customer services is one of the worse. My room is smells with back-up sewage gases. The rest of my friends (5 rooms) rooms are the same way. They are stings. We have to leave the window opened at night and when not in the room too. My sister room has cockroaches so she video recorded it and asked to transfer to another floor. After back and forth, they granted her request. 30 minutes later, they sent another new arrival family to the same room. They didn’t even clean the room or treated it first. 4) after a couple of days stayed, we lost water (hot and cold) supplies to our rooms (entire floor ) We didn’t get the water back until the end of the day. Once the water came back, we have to run it for a good 10-15 minutes because the black then yellow-ish stuff keep coming out. 5) there are a few “hot dog” stands by the beach areas. To get hot dog or French fried, you will probably have to wait 20 to 35 minutes because there is only one person per “hot dog stand” and he/she will take their times to serve. 6) because of COVID situation, a lot of times, when you ask questions or curious about certain things, some of their responses suggested that “if you don’t like it, oh well too bad.” I have been to Cancun a few times and this is one of my worse experiences ever. Not recommending this hotel at all.

We had the best experience in the Oasis Palm Hotel in Cancun. The staff were very nice and very humble. The service was incredible, the food was great, and the beach and appearance of the hotel are gorgeous. Everything is very clean. I would recommend Grand Oasis Palm and Oasis Palm to everyone. It is great for family trips and there is a lot to do for kids and adults.

Just came back from a wonderfully warm week in Cancun. Had some pros and some cons about the resort, nothing incredible that really jumped out apart from the people we met! Pros: Beach waters were calm and tended to daily. The hammocks are a wonderful touch, as well as the yoga in the morning on the pier. Entertainment staff were engaging and played some fun music throughout the stay! Shout out to Luis, Toni, Olivaren and Jorge for adding joy to the days. The pizza place was a nice touch with some great cheese. From what I could see, a fun resort for families due to the atmosphere. Spent most of our time on the beach though :) Bar service was okay, but didn't seem to exist much on the beach most days, even with tips, just not the people available? Shoutout to Laura who was amazing and personable. Kudos to Ramon, Victor and Adrian at the bar for some good service. Covid protocols set up in place, most people wearing masks to and from getting drinks and food on the beach and at the restaurants, and buffets. AC was nice in the rooms and at most of the common eating areas. Cons: Limited food selection in buffets. A couple times we found ourselves sick, not sure from what, but needed some stomach relaxants to overcome the issue. If you don't ask for middle tier alcohol (Smirnoff, Absolut), you won't get it, which I suppose I understand, but felt a bit upset that wasn't the standard, not bothersome as I am vocal. The wifi was a surcharge, which seems to be hit and miss - I find if the resort added the wifi for free, they could in turn generate more social media interest. I wasn't interested paying for data to share for a resort's image, which was medicore but still enjoyable. What annoyed me the most is that there was an extra charge for the safe more than anything. I think it's commonplace to offer the extra security and peace of mind for free, but it wasn't even explained to us until we entered the rooms, so having to go back and wait in line to get access to a key - should have been given to as on entrance and check in, to waste less time overall. Also not enjoyable to hear that only single king/queen beds were offered in the ocean view rooms, as I came with a friend and we wanted separate bedding. Asked for the upgrade and was told it didn't exist - whether that is true or not, it should be adjusted. Slow elevators as mentioned, not bothersome on the 3rd floor, maybe annoying if you have bad mobility. No balconies for the double bed rooms either. Feels like friends get shorted unless they would like to bed together. Despite the issues, I would be hesitant of coming back, but still enjoyed a calm relaxing week at the beach.

This resort would have been great 30 years ago. I just have to say Spend a little more money to go to the grand oasis or somewhere else completely. The first day had to do a timeshare presentation and our room got ranscked while we were out , even had the do not disturb sign on the door. Nothing of value was taken because we had carried it with, contacted security and the concierge. They cam e to the room and did a read of the swipes on the door lock, and said it only showed my key being used, once. we had swiped the key 3 times , for coffee, forgot masks, and forgot second room key. someone is smarteer tantheir system or they are dishonest. We had zipped up all our bags before we left and all the zippers were opened when we returned. The resort itself is cramped and doesn't have a large beach. The pools were full of kids all day long, not a relaxing atmosphere so went to the beach which was small and full also. Ended up doing day trips away from the resort everyday. The food was below average at 3/5 of the restaurants (2 closed, but not told that at booking ). the drinks are really watered down which is to be expected some, but you could die of water toxicity before any alcohol poisoning. conclusion , Spend the extra $10-30/ day to stay somewhere nicer. this is a 1-2 star not a 4 star.
