Just right
Fickle people have fickle comments don't be put off by petty negative comments. La Villa is a lovely little hotel in a central location, close to the trappings of the Croisette beach but hidden away enough for the tranquility. Breakfast can be taken inside or the terrace is available up a short flight of stairs. For the price La Villa is a perfect place for a short stay.
It is not a 4 stars
The staff is kind and the location is good, just behind the croisette. The room is not very spacious but it has everything you need. Very good the bath products. You can prepare your own coffee/tea in the room. The bed is good and confortable, unfortunately we did not enjoyed the night because of the excessive noise. All night long people come and go, shutting the doors, without any control of the reception. Twice someone tried to enter our room, of course by mistake, but at three in the morning.... No control at all for the reception on all the noise and I was at the first floor. Our room was on the train line, very noisy and there are prostitutes at the end of the street. If you are passing by for one night it could be OK, but I will not come back.
Lovely hotel
Excellent boutique hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Good selection of fresh food at breakfast. Kettle in room for tea and coffee too. Everything about it seemed to have been done with care and attention to detail. Staff very helpful and friendly. In quiet street but close to the promenade.Limited selection of places to eat close by although plenty in town about 20 minutes walk away.
Great hotel and service
Lovely boutique hotel right in the Croisette area, 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area and 2 minutes away from the sea. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, with a view on the swimming pool and a medium sized bathroom. Complimentary tea/coffee/water and free parking. The staff was very friendly, highly recommended for a short stay, good value for money.
Great location
Great location just minutes from a fabulous municiple beach. 20 minute walk into town centre. Quiet area even though there is a railway track just in front of the hotel. Drinks in the garden were a treat and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a good start to the day.
