Reduced Maintenance in La Quinta Inn in Canton, MI
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times since the price point is good for a 2 day stay during a major holiday. This last year the appearance of the first floor has gone way downhill with stained carpeting and a bucket to capture a leak in the hallway. The hotel does allow pets which is the primary reason I have stayed here. The room was adequate but some details in the bathroom (clean though) need to be addressed.
Nasty hotel
If your down for being high and don’t even smoke this is the place for you. Morning staff was extremely rude, like I took her breakfast from her. I will pay triple price somewhere else, will never stay here again.
Don’t waste your money
Entire hotel was dirty and in need of remodel. Made me feel dirty my whole stay. Breakfast was a joke. A pop tart, bottle of water and a snack bar. The only bright spot was they did have coffee every morning and throughout the day.
Do not stay here
Do not stay at this hotel. To start off, it is in disrepair with dents in walls and door frames torn up. It was dirty and had a bad smell. The worst part for me was the front desk staff. I had to cut my trip short and left in the evening. They told me that they would check me out and send me a receipt in the morning. Nothing. We then called them and they confirmed that we were checked out and that they would send a receipt. Nothing again. I called Expedia to get a refund. They called the hotel and the front desk had no idea about this. So, I was charged 5 nights when I stayed 1. Only stay here if it’s your last resort.
Don’t stay here. I drove through the parking lot and left. It was so sketchy I didn’t even go inside
In a nasty area People sitting in the parking lot doing who knows what. I was traveling alone and I’m a woman. Don’t stay here There were maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. Bet you could buy any drug you wanted It was dark. Meaning lighting was horrible I can’t believe you even have this as an option on trip advisor
