“All inclusive” is actually full board plus drinks. Dishonest commercial practice. Don’t stay here.
The rooms are massive, WiFi works and some of the staff are very welcoming, however here is a word of caution. We were sold “all inclusive” by the travel agent (and got charged €2,500 for 2 rooms however on arrival at the hotel we found out that “all inclusive” was actually full board with some free drinks. The staff reception are beyond rude and patronising and we were told that we needed to upgrade to “all inclusive diamond” for €50 per person per day to experience what constitutes all inclusive. The food is ok and so is the swimming pool. Service levels are not up to scratch either (the staff flat refused to help organise a birthday cake for my mom), we were assigned to the late dining shift at 22:00 and the receptionist refused to offer any alternatives) I am very disappointed by how this hotel is intentionally misleading customers by selling and charging “all inclusive” and then coercing customers to pay more on arrival to get the “all inclusive” experience. There are a large number of wonderful hotels in this area and there is no need to stay here.
Percect Holidays
It's my first time in the hotel and I'm gratified by the attention. Emphasize the great treatment of Oscar at reception, a great professional, always very attentive to everything, and the waiter Alfredo in the buffet. Also the animation team was great. In regard to the facilities of the hotel, impeccable room and very clean the common areas. Definitely, if I come back to Peñiscola, I will choose this hotel again.
four star concentraon camp
The hotel is dated and the personnel rude.We were treated there like jail inmates. You could not on do this and this. They put us wrist bands for contolling us. I have never exprerienced that in any hotel and this was supposed to be luxury hotel not an amusement park. I do not recommend anyone to go there to be humiliated.
Disappointing
We stayed at this hotel in February 2020. A week before we were planning on staying there, we received an email from Hilton/RCI, stating that the spa was damaged from recent storms and wouldn't be in use. I called and no one knew anything about this. Don’t know if spa even was there. The location was very difficult to find, but the lobby was impressive. The room they gave us was ok. Oh and there was a $30 charge per week stay to pay for the electricity? Space was fine for the three of us, but the towels were thin, dingy, and felt like paper towels. There was 1 half roll of toilet paper and 3 tissues left in the box. Room wasn’t “cleaned” until Wednesday ( we arrived on Sunday) Housekeeping didn’t leave us any extra toilet paper, and only rinsed out the cups in the bathroom- they were still dirty when we returned for the day. Went to the buffet one day; food had been sitting around for hours and was semi-warm. The buffet was $25 per person; it was maybe worth $10. We were charged for parking of 9 euros/day- each time we approached the gate, we prayed it would open with our keycard. Most of the time it didn’t open and we had to go back inside and get a new card. This was the case numerous days as cars lined up to enter the parking area. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Very disappointing hotel.
Peniscola parking
Resort has large parking lot, but this is only for resort employees. Guests must pay a lot to park in the garage. The safe in the room was not working and it was not repaired during our stay. Lobby was very noisy; otherwise nice resort.
