Good airport hotel

Clean and comfortable, close to airport. Aside from a Casey's within walking distance there is nothing else nearby. Overall, this hotel is quite nice. But cost was a bit high when I factor in a so-so breakfast and poor exercise area. Still a great location for the quick-stay air traveller expecting hey clean and comfortable room.

Booked the nicest suite they had for my neice's birthday party. When I booked the room I was told they would have a rollaway bed available. They were also made aware that my neice would have two friends as well as my other neice and nephew along with my sister and I staying, hence why we were paying such good money for the suite. When we arrived we were instantly told that we could not have a rollaway bed because of the fire code. After explaining to them that we were initially told that we could have a rollaway bed, they brought one up. After that, we went down to the pool, where my neices cousins came to swim. We were told that people that were not staying in the hotel were not allowed to swim, after speaking with the manager, we were alotted two hours to swim with their cousins and then they had to leave. In the morning we woke up and went to get breakfast, where we were told that there was no breakfast, just a muffin, granola bar, canned juice, and mandarin oranges. Not a pleasant stay at all. And to top it off got a nasty email from the GM stating there was too many people sleeping in the room and there was a deposit on the rollaway bed. So my sister paid $250 on a mediocre suite, we were treated less than, and on top of that got a $100 fee for breaking fire code, when their employees were the ones that brought the rollaway up and said we could have one in the first place booking the room!! Do not trust this hotel! Less than professional staff-specifically the ones "running" the place. 0 level of hospitality!!

I was able to check in quickly The room was very clean (walked around in my white socks in the room and to the breakfast area without any hint of dirt on them). Had a minor issue with something in the room that was quickly taken care of by staff. Staff was fantastic. Room I was in had small fridge (no freezer), coffee maker, no microwave (not a big deal for my stay). Breakfast item was small sack item of breakfast burrito, fruit, & juice due to Covid. The normal breakfast area is a little small but seems to be the same layout as other AmericInns stayed at in other cities in the Midwest. There is a McDonalds close by for additional breakfast items. Hotel was easy to find, less than a couple hundred yards off the exit. Would stay there again if I was in the area and needed a room.
Clean, with strict Covid rules

Most strict Covid rules at a hotel on our 2 week vacation across the West. Single family in elevator, 10 people in pool, 4 people in hot tub, breakfast in a bag (this was the only annoying one; we do enjoy a hot breakfast).
