Lovely hotel and staff
Stayed here for 2 nights on a Saga tour in North Spain. It was my favourite hotel on the tour. The room was nice, the newly refurbished shower was superb. We didn’t have food choices at our evening meals but when I refused a seafood starter they offered me a lovely salad as an alternative which was much appreciated. The cafe/bar opens early in the morning so we were able to get good coffee before breakfast time.
Wonderful Stay
Stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a Saga tour of Northern Spain. Given Room 103 at the front of the hotel. Room was spacious with twin beds and settee. Bathroom had bath with shower over and had been refurbished fairly recently. Where this hotel excelled was the the staff and the food. Evening meal and breakfast buffet excellent. Staff could not do enough for us. Service was quick and with a smile. In the bar for a drink we were given tuna empanadas and cheese and anchovies for nibbles. Cee is a real Spanish town not a tourist resort. Other guests seemed to be cyclists or pilgrims. Would recommend highly.
Good stay on the Camino, but not so customer friendly
The hotel is well located near the Camino. We walked about 6 hours before reaching the hotel, and when coming to the reception desk, we were asked to wait 5 minutes since one colleague was busy to explain something to another collegue, with the purpose to finish the explanation before finishing her shift ... This gave us quite an embarassing feeling ... when not paying attention to your customers, do not be surprised when they do not come back again ... Breakfast was minimal, with discount-quality juice and coffee, quite different than all other places we stayed at on the Camino, where fresh-pressed orange juice and fresh café on leche was part of the morning routines. Otherwise, the hotel and room is clean, the bar staff very friendly, but as said, we had expected the same attitude when checking in ...
Modern attractive hotel
Fresh, bright, modern hotel with efficient check-in staff with good English language skills and a friendly and approachable manner. Very nice dinner in the restaurant. Very much enjoyed our visit here and would visit again.
Good Modern Hotel
We stayed for one night while walking the Camino to Finisterre, booked through Macs Adventures. We had a lovely spacious room with a small balcony at the front of the hotel. The evening meal from the menu of the day was ok, my wife chose from the main menu and really enjoyed her steak and chocolate cake. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
