Ski vacation
Excellent stay in Paradiski. Indeed, La Plagne ski area as about 700 meters, however it is no problem with the free ski basses. Whenever you're on the car, parking places available in Les Edelweiss residense. Parking place should be paid (about 2 euro) just near the telecabine. We rather used busses, but today, when i should retern hotel in the middle of the day, i was walking in ski boots 25mins(😎). Sabine is perfect - very supportive and hospitail.
Winterbreak 2019
Most excellent, Sabine always welcoming and efficient.Good location with ski lockers and room with heating for skiboots not to mention pool and sauna for R&R.! Parking not a problem and ploughed in the winter. Situated in Champagny one has the best of a lot, lift to Paradiski, 3Vallee and Prolognan both c.10 kms away there is enough for the most fanatical skier! Great place, we are regulars!
Superb residence in a fantastic little ski ressort
We had a fantastic time in this superb residence. The location is ideal, very close to a shuttle stop that brings you to the ski slopes of the Champagny ressort in less than 5 minutes. This is perfectly located in a quiet area of the Champagny village, and the host Sabine was very nice to us, answering all of our queries and questions easily and in a very helpful manner. The rooms are very comfy and well furnished, in surprisingly big appartments for a ski ressort. We had a lovely time, in what is now our favourite French Alps place to go for skiing, will definitely come back next year.
Residence les Edelweiss 4 people mezzanine
We had a lovely stay in the 4 people mezzanine with Residence les Edelweiss. The appartment was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The couch bed was very good as there was a complete bed with a good matress folded under the couch. The only sleeping discomfort weren the blankets. We had hoped for a duvet. The residence has a swimmingpool where the water temperature varies between 26-30 C. The kids loved it. Cooking utensils, pottery everything was there in abbuncy. We just had a great stay and would certainly return. The ski bus is just down the hill a 100 metres away from the residence. Be sure to take the champagny le Haut bus and nog the Champagny circuit bus. As the grumpy driver will certainly not help you out.... The bread service for euro a day the bakaery delivers to you door between 6-7.30 for excellent. Just go to the bakery in town for your order and pay when you'Re leaving. If you're skiing with very small kids that won't take lessons go for the cool ski option profiding two chair lifts and 6 pistes for 29 euro's a day. We used this option a few days after which we bought the large domain ski pass.
An nice place
For our ski vacation, we booked Residence Les Edelweiss for a week and that worked without a problem. It was a multi building chalet, sauna, restaurant and swimming pool included. Specially that pool was nice. Just to relax your body or a quick swim. Not too big bit enough. We had a 6 person apartment for four and that was a good choice. I don't think 6 persons would fit. Everything was in the apartment (including a dishwasher) and all worked. Not new but clean. My biggest point of comment was the bed. Just too small for two adults. Both length as wide. Also the blankets where of a past era. This should be better. The restaurant was good. No doubt. Fair prices and enough choice with local cuisine. Raclette, Tartiflette and fondue. Nice local wine. Hmmm. We will go back to La Plagne / Champagny en Vanoise next year but most likely to another apartment. Service from the staff was very correct and very nice. Just that bed....
