Great Place for group stay

Stayed at Hyatt Place Southern Village for family wedding. Staff took very good care of us while still being COVID safe. Had one maintenance problem in bathroom that was addressed immediately and resolved.
Excellent hotel, close to shops and restaurants and walking trail

We were in town for UNC Chapel Hill family weekend. The hotel was perfect and close to so many things. We were able to walk to dinner, to the walking/running trails and to a cute coffee shop. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were perfect. Having a couch and sitting area was great for the down time we had between events. Will definitely stay again!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay for business or pleasure. Rooms are well appointed and the staff is very professional and Kind. The bed is comfy and the sitting area is spacious. The large shower is wonderful and the size of the room is just right.

This hotel was easy to get to - in the center of things - and had free parking. Hotel is relatively new and was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast was a little disappointing but that was attributable to the covid situation.
DISAPPOINTING for the HYATT

Some of the Staff needs to go back to "Customer Service" training and the awful Breakfast selection "because of Covid" was HORRIBLE compared to other Hotels I have stayed in in the past 3 weeks during "COVID"! For the Price of the Room this was a true disappointment! And the "View" of the Village from the HIGH rooms is looking at an apartment complex! Not worth the MONEY for that view!
