Tuve que viajar en mayo dos veces a ese destino en diferentes fechas y no dude en volver a as buscar hotel. La estación de café y té las 24 horas lo hace especial. Las habitaciones y sus duchas espectaculares.

Excellent and modern airport hotel

Super new and clean property- about 5 minutes from the airport. The building is split- 1/2 TRU and 1/2 Hampton Inn. We had 2 rooms for 1 night following a late flight arrival. The breakfast was served on the Hampton Inn side and had make your own waffles and pancakes- with whipped cream, M&Ms and mini chocolate chips. There were juice and coffee options and fresh fruit. It was impressive. And a hit with the teenage boys in my group. Our room was clean and modern and the hotel was quiet (although we were on the top floor- yay Hilton Honors!) Would highly recommend this property.

Would definitely stay here again. great staff at check in and check out. the shuttle drivers are so nice and told us to make sure we tell the front desk when we needed to leave the hotel to get back to the airport. all around great space, comfy bed, clean showers and nice smelling soaps, lotions etc. live tv and streaming on the tv. good breakfast that was complimentary, was a mix of continental but they had a waffle or pancake station with hot sausages, bacon etc too. good value, good people, good hotel

The great thing about Charlotte-Douglas Airport is its proximity to downtown. In 10-15 minutes, you are in the heart of the city, so, if you are renting a car, an airport hotel with free parking makes sense and this Tru by Hilton certainly fit the bill. It was a solid Hilton property with a game room (including a full-size pool table), a very good fitness center and an in-lobby bar. The staff was friendly and the rooms were good-sized and clean with a shower that had an actual full glass door (a rarity nowadays). There was also a LARGE screen TV with streaming services which was really excellent (maybe the best I've seen in a hotel). My only issues were a passable at best free breakfast and the continued uncertainty of when rooms will or will not be cleaned. In all, however, these were minor problems and for the money, I am really happy with my choice. When I am back in Charlotte, I will be returning here.

I do have some issues with the place, however. The main issue is that the digital key didn't work here. The reason I am loyal to the Hilton brand, is because of the digital keys. In 2023 I should not have to go to a hotel lobby, for any reason. When I pull up and the digital key doesn't work, I have to go check in and get a physical key. This is a new hotel it seems, there shouldn't be an issue with digital keys here. The location is good, the property is very clean and nice. The staff was very nice. The orange juice is very watered down at breakfast, that was a disappointment. Everything else is good though.
