Charming hotel with convenient location and great staff!
Reviewed 1 july, 2022
My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was incredible! They were so warm and welcoming. The hotel itself was beautiful! The decor has a Great Gatsby feel and if you appreciate history, you will love the antique details. Also, the location was great!

Wedding was beautiful

I attended a wedding at the read house and it was incredible. The green room was well decorated, the staff was nice and very helpful. The food was delicious and accommodations were nice and clean. Cant say enough good things about this place. P.S. if you run into Jill she is super helpful and lovely to be around.

20s vibe in a modern setting
Reviewed 22 june, 2022
My wife and I visited Chattanooga for our anniversary and stayed at the Read House. Our room was nicely appointed but what really stuck us was the decor in the lobby, which had a neat 1920's theme. We did visit the bar in the evening and even the wait staff were dressed as though for the roaring 20's, which we thought was interesting. Room service continental breakfast in the morning was just $10. A single portion would have been enough for the two of us, but we aren't huge breakfast eaters. We did not try the Chophouse restaurant on site as we ate our dinner elsewhere. Valet parking is available, but we parked across the street in public city parking. Not sure how much the valet was.

A True Gem!

This is a beautiful historic hotel providing exceptional customer service, great location, and the rooms are just perfect (including comfortable bedding and in room amenities). I was here for a business trip on June 14, 2022 and the vibe of this hotel was upbeat and inviting. No complaints whatsoever. I will return for a weekend personal getaway soon. I recommend without hesitation.

Amazing place to stay

This was my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful property and rooms. I felt like I was staying in a museum, but not old and stuffy. Period pieces everywhere but very modern and chic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had drinks and ate at the bar and it was yummy. Nice having the Starbucks right off the lobby too. I will return here someday to stay longer.
