Very friendly people, good location

The staff at this hotel was very friendly, appreciate them. Hotel itself is a bit older than some of the other Residence Inn's that I've stayed at, but everything is fine, no big deal. Gym was well equipped. Good location as there is all sorts of shopping in the area and it was easy to hop on/off the the Interstate.

After a long flight the last thing a person wants to do is walk into a decaying hotel room. Where do I even start? The bright red and black stained floor or the uncovered light fixtures, tattered/dated couch, smell of smoke or peeling paint. Just check the photos instead... no my attached photos not the fake ones on the site. You ... MARRIOTT ... should be ashamed of yourself for charging over $150 at this hotel. Are you so busy focusing on the Bonvoy Escapes, opening new destinations, or speaking at lodging conferences that you are not keeping up the standards of the Marriott name by upgrading and/or maintaining your existing property? You had over a year of the 2020 pandemic to do so. And, no I do not blame the staff or maintenance department. I blame you the owner! This hotel room )139) is a complete HOT mess. And, what is the purpose of a profile request if it's not honored? Higher floor not near an exist does not mean first floor literally next to the exist. Geesh! Like many others have indicated, I DO NOT recommend this hotel, not even for one night (like I did). Sure, this hotel is near the mall, many restaurants, and within 3 miles of the airport, but so are many other hotels ... chose differently.
Nice Location, But

The location of the hotel is very nice. It is conveniently located between Niagra Fall and Six Flags. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are a little worn out and need renovation. The level of cleanliness is not high. The breakfast selection is very limited. The front desk staff are simply not hospitable. Would not go there again.
Not up to Marriott standards; 1st impression a very bad impression

Standards at this Marriott property left much to be desired. We stayed the previous night at the Fairfield Inn Buffalo Airport and had a wonderful experience, where the hotel was clean and well maintained. Our first impression of this property was a bad impression and we would have switched to another hotel but all rooms in town were booked. The hotel claimed updated rooms but they appeared to have cut corners, especially with bathroom sinks and cupboards and furniture. There was no sanitizing in this hotel. We were at this hotel for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. The kitchen floor was filty, the carpet was dirty and not vacuumed, the pull out couch smelled & didn't have fresh linen, and none of the rooms seemed clean or sanitized. The kitchen was poorly stocked with 2 forks & a knife and few plates. The elevator floor, hallways, pool area were not mopped or vacuumed during our stay and outside garbage cans were rarely emptied. Rooms were very dark with poor lighting. Before booking this hotel I called the front desk asking if there was a full hot breakfast and I was assured there was. Not true; the food choices were gluton free bagels, yogurt, muffins and cold cereal. There were bananas and egg sandwiches one day, however, eating in the dining room was discouraged; no microwave to heat the sandwich, no plates, no cups, no juice and milk was dispensed in pitcher instead of individual cartons. We knew that because of Covid there was no daily service to the room, but we found garbage and towels outside many of the rooms for hours with no clean up. Towels were hard to come by; had 4 in our 2 bathroom suite and when asked for more, were told they were in the wash and not available for hours. Same problem with the pool towels; no supply and when asked, had to wait. On a positive note, the front desk clerks were friendly and helped as much as possible.
