Great Stay for Vacation Stop

The hotel was a days drive from our residence and two hours from our final destination. The place was modern, clean and very accessible to major interstate roadways. The room was spacious and comfortable with the exception of the broken toilet seat. The hotel serves breakfast early everyday.

Two outta three ain't bad??

Had a hard time deciding how many stars I should give this hotel. But let's just say if the internet worked right and I had no experiences with the overnight employee, the hotel would have received five stars. On the flip side, because of the positives, this is not a one-star review. The biggest positive at this hotel is guest service. Well, almost. The gentleman who checked me in (who's name I never got, but it was around 4:30pm on Monday 5/16) was outstanding. I was checked out by Daysa, and she was outstanding. Very responsive to assisting me with an issue I had. Thanks again for handling that! If these were the only two employees I dealt with all day, I would be singing the praises of guest service. Most guests probably do only see "Shift 1" and "Shift 2", and have minimal experience with "Shift 3". I spoke with Daysa about what had occurred with "Shift 3" when I checked out and since I see she's the main one who responds to these reviews, I'm not going to rehash all of it. I hope it's been addressed but also remembered if more of these guest experiences happen (and that's why I am mentioning it on TripAdvisor). He really drags down the guest service experience that Daysa and the gentleman who checked me in work hard to excel in. The internet worked but needs a serious upgrade due to being significantly slow. 99% of your guests are using this internet and remembering their experience with it when they check out. In 2022, other than breakfast, you do not have a more important amenity in terms of use. I would stay here again if the internet was upgraded.

Poorly Maintained and Dirty

This place is a 5/10 if I am generous. There are many maintenance items that need attention. The carpet is frayed, the shower paint is peeling (or mostly peeled), and the room smelled like a wet dog. Housekeeping missed the baby throw up (we hoped) on our sofa bed, which was terribly worn out and uncomfortable. The sheets were paper thin and gave you that “I wonder if they really changed these” feeling. The towels were thin. The eggs at breakfast were something like what I imagine on Apollo 13. We could not wait to leave this place and would not go back.

Needs A Lot of Maintenance.

We have stayed here a number of time. Manly because of early morning flights. It has been over two years since our last stay. We do not think we will be back again. The overall up keep of the hotel is horrible. I am a facility manager and know what is required for simple maintenance. Things that are needing attention are normal everyday items that comes with any property. Housekeeping seems to do a good job , so this is not on them. This is a management issue. Hopefully the property can get this corrected.

Stress free start to vacation!

So glad we decided to take advantage of the hotel's sleep and fly package! More economical than any parking options and definitely stress free thanks to the door to door shuttle service. The property is well maintained with spotless rooms, comfortable beds and a very nice complimentary breakfast with both hot and cold offerings. Everything was appetizing and replenished often. Special thanks to the staff (especially the lady who managed the breakfast area) for their great customer service!
