The most awful trip/ hotel experience of my life so far....

Reviewed 3 june, 2021

My friend and I booked 2 separate rooms at the Cherry Hill extended stay. When we arrived to check in, after a 3 hour drive, I was told that there were no rest rooms that I could use until I checked in my room. When I finally did arrive in my room, my bathroom was filthy so I had to clean it before I could use it. My friends kitchen floor was so dirty that our shoes stuck to it. There were black flies all over my friends bathroom and kitchen sink. While doing laundry the next day in a laundry room where only 1 washer worked and I had to pay $4 to dry 1 load of laundry, I met an older lady... She told me that she had laundry on the second floor that she was not able to bring down herself. I offered to do it for her and quickly regretted my decision. Turns out that the 2 bags of laundry were in the hallway (directly across the hall from my friends room) were full of towels covered in Feces with a rip in the bag. The stench that was coming from the bag was so unbearable I thought I might pass out and it was also covered in bugs, the Same kind that were occupying my friends room. My friend gathered her stuff and came to stay in my room. We were told that there were no rooms available for my friend to move too. My toilet proceeded to break and no solution was offered. After shift change an available room magically became available at 12 am. We packed out things at 12am and the room the moved us to was also filthy and there was a huge bug on the bathroom floor. After getting some sleep at 5am we accidentally over slept and we were harassed the entire time that we showered to get out of the room. I have put in 3 complaints to corporate and was told I would receive a call back in 24-48 hours and 6 days later have yet to hear from corporate. Worst experience of my life.

Nonsmoking rooms smell like smoke.

I had to book a hotel for a doctors visit. We booked this hotel because it is recommended by the American Cancer Society. They should not recommend this hotel. I arrived at 8:00 pm to check in and was greeted with a sign saying the attendant wouldn't be back until 8:30 pm. My husband and I went to dinner and I called to make sure they wouldn't give away my room. Without taking my name the front desk clerk quickly said it was fine. I checked in and whent to my room to find the entire room smelled like smoke and the room was not in the best ahape either. I asked for another room and was told I couldn't get one because the hotel was sold out. I immediately checked out and went to Ceowne Plaza (which was awesome by the way). I will be telling the American Cancer Society not to recommend this hotel anymore.

Great staff, clean hotel, coffee every morning. Great ladies behind the desk. Definitely worth staying. They help you with any requests you have. The general manager is great! Should definitely stay here if you need or want a place to stay.

Great service from front desk to housekeeping.

I was visiting friends for the weekend and I had to make last minute accommodations. Extended Stay America was great as soon as I walked in. I was greeted by pleasant housekeeping staff and front desk staff that were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. While checking out I was greeted by the smile of Ms. Jackelin who asked me about my stay and was very pleasant and professional otherwise and zapped me out of my cranky morning mood, she was great! Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, nice staff, I would definitely stay there again. Greg N.

Stayed a month here. Choose this Extended Stay based on pricing/location. Staff was wonderful. The manager was helpful and accommodating. Tip: Search online for promo codes or First Time Guest Discounts like I did for a more than fair rate. - Perfect location on Route 70 next to 295 North/South Ramps. - Laundry Rooms facility are on site. - The room & linens were clean(our main concern). - Kitchen consisted of a sink, plenty of cabinet space, microwave, full size refrigerator and electric stove, coffee maker, & toaster. - Also staff upon arrival gave us pots/pans, plates, bowls, utensils, and more which was a pleasant surprise.
