Best family holiday to date, will be rebooking for next year

Reviewed 6 november, 2021

Wow is all I can say! Best holiday we have had as a family by far, and we have stayed in afew of the holiday villages ect. I could not fault it in anyway, and we already are planning on booking for summer next year. Food.... In the main buffet restaurant the food was lovely, varied and had a great choice at every meal time... Not one of us moaned at any point about not having things we didn't like. Breakfast they have a vairity of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries, juices, milks (chocolate milk was a firm favourite for our family) toast, preserves, full English style options, omelette Station, pancake and waffle Station, along with continental style breakfasts like salad, ham, chesses, ect. Lunchtime also alot to offer and a favourite of the kids was the clay oven baked pizza station. Dinner also so much choice each night. And the dessert choices at lunch and dinner were phenomenal and not your average choice. The waterpark snack park and palms sweet snack bar were also great for food, and slushes and ice creams. The Al carte restaurants were amazing too, Enzo was our favourite with the veranda a close second, the staff so attentive and food was the highest of quality and plentyfull!! Drinks were amazing too, cocktails were great quality and so much choice on the all inclusive too, beer was a thumbs up form the husband, wine not amazing from the bars but nothing a dash of sprite can't do to make it sweeter. Pools and water park were great and enjoyed by us all, there's lots for the children to do too, apart from the water slides ect there's a great little play park, little amusements, sport activities daily and a great little kids club with lovely staff and the kids favourite was the evening a film then mini disco. We stayed in a family suite with a private sharing pool and oh my was it a beautiful big room, we also had a mini bar containing Fanta Leno sprite coke zero water and beer which was replenished when needed. House keeping, hotel, animation and restaurant and bar staff were all amazing. Stella palace thank you for the best stay and wel see you in the summer.

Great place

We had a really great stay at the stella palace. The kids loved the slides and the mini disco. Even the little play park was a hit. The pools were a little cold but I'm sure in the warmer months it is probably quite refreshing. The rooms was lovely, housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The room had everything we needed but we were in the mid 600s and we had the noise from the poolside bar until 11 and then from the adult only hotel next door until super late. The food was great, a bit of everything and not so repetitive that you get bored. They're all over the covid stuff too, you're given gloves to be earn and masks are a must indoors too. Great to see. The location isnt great but we had a wander into analypsi, took a cab to a nearby town and also arranged a day to santorini thru the hotel too which I'd certainly recommend. On check out it turned out someone had been charging things to our room, or the reception staff were reading a 7 as a 1. They were adamant we had been tanking the uzo etc and took a lot of persuading that it wasn't us. It didn't detract from what was otherwise a great stay tho.

Good hotel, fabulous a la carte restaurants, friendly staff and good rooms.

Having staying at the palace resort and spa our stay could we summed up with the following in no particular order: Rooms: Nice sized rooms and balcony. Comfy beds. Good blackout curtains! Water pressure incredible! Bath takes a few mins to run if that and lots of hot water! Make sure the tap is on and not the shower or it does a Merry dance and soaks the bathroom 😉 Towels aplenty, housekeeping give you fresh pool towels daily and replenish bath towels where needed. Bottled Water is also left daily by housekeeping. Good selection of drinks, wine bit dubious, but beer not bad and good choice of cocktails, including pimms, aperol spritz, and pina colda to name a few (although my pina colda was made differently nearly everything time!) Restaurants: masks to be worn, and gloves also which are given on entry and you are enforced to wear so everyone did. Main restaurant: no logical order to how it’s laid out, and very repetitive. Breakfast was average, and lunch and dinner average also, more 3 star, couldn’t differentiate the themed evenings , little live cooking, main highlight was the pizza (kids nearly lived on it!) Elia a la carte- set mixed starters, mains and salads are a choice, desserts set, see menu attached, very good food. Veranda - fabulous fine dining, such attentive staff, fabulous food, choice of main, starter and dessert all were fantastic! Some of the starters were almost a meal in themselves! Lovely setting. Enso- Asian cuisine, by far our favourite! Every course was delicious! The chefs were Asian and you could see them cooking. The ambience was lovely. Definitely the 5 star aspect! Water park snack bar, good selection of snacks, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, wraps and fruit. Pool side sweet snack bar, crepes lovely, cakes also good particularly the mosaic brownie. Water park brilliant, slides are great, life guards fun not many rules, happily let you go down together, and very clean areas. Pools are large and lots of shallow areas for little ones. Sun beds lovely and comfy some more so with thick beds and lots of double beds. Staff attentive and friendly, main bar in lobby is brilliant, special shout out to Nikos , he is so attentive and so lovely with the children. queuing at bars gets frustrating as again no order and people constantly queue jumping. As busier times people end up order multiple drinks as they get bored of queuing which takes ages and creates bigger queues. Beach fairly rocky but if you walk to the right a bit further it’s lovely and Sandy. To sum it up, a great time had by all, I would say more 4 star than 5, but the a la carte def 5 stars.

Friendly staff and great food

The Stella is a lovely resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We are on an all in package and the drinks flow and the food is tasty and plentiful. Even better if you get in to one of the three fancy restaurants during your stay. Try the steak! The pools are a bit cold but that’s more weather related. The rooms are well kept.

Another fabulous stay at Stella palace, this was our second time here and will be booking again for next year. Food is really good, rooms and grounds are kept immaculate. Plenty of entertainment for children to keep them occupied. Special mentions must got to the entertainment team and animations team, adel, Zulu and last but not least iwona (you made our holiday again Thank you)
