I was surprised how nice it was

My husband and I decided to do a hotel stay for date night at the last minute. We didn't have high expectations and were just looking for a place to crash that was near where we were going. I was pleasantly surprised. Check in staff was friendly and quick. Room and hallways clean and actually smelled clean which doesn't always happen. Would go back.
Good for one night.

I wasn't impressed with this hotel. No coffee pot,or water kennel. They have a kitchen but no cups or utensils at all. Very old looking. They did some updating but still old. The breakfast was instant oatmeal and granola bar. And we had to ask for it. Shower needed a good wiping down. Location was good. Next time in town will be looking for another place to stay. No bells or whistles.
Avoid at all costs!

Go anywhere else!!!! Idk how this place had the highest reviews of the surrounding hotels as bad as it was. My grandmother set a reservation a week in advance. After driving 17 hours they arrive and are told they didn't have a reservation but that they do have an available room. 3 hours later after sleeping in the front lobby they were allowed into their room. Their sheets were wet. The room was an absolute mess. The kitchen cabinets were falling off of the hinges. The tub drain was clearly clogged and old dirty water was still sitting in it. There was trash under the beds from whoever was previously in the room as well. They have an ice machine so I asked the front desk for an ice bucket. I was advised they don't have ice buckets and was given a literal garbage bag to collect the ice. Their website says they have a complimentary breakfast: Thats a lie. My 86 year old grandfather fell outside the front door of the hotel. He was helped by no one. I arrived to him sitting on the ground with a large puddle of blood next to him from cutting his head wide open. That entire day was spent in the emergency room. Staff was informed and not once was he asked if he was ok or if he needed anything. No comped days or anything. Everyone at the front desk is an absolute joke. Another day I get there to pick them up and the floor in front of the elevator is absolutely soaked with no wet floor sign visible. Yet another opportunity for my elderly grandparents to fall. Ohhh and let's not forget the roaches. NEVER AGAIN!!!! (Tried to add more pix but too large)
