We stayed for 3 nights in Dec 2020 for a soccer tournament during Covid. Chesterfield is a nice area, I grew up here, though not in this area of Chesterfield, which was undeveloped before. It is right across the street from an outlet mall, with stores and restaurants about 5 minutes drive. The hotel is newer too. Our first room was next to a man with 2 dogs that barked, so we switched rooms right when we got there. The second room, we noticed the stovetop had burnt crusted food on it that wouldn't scrub off with a paper towel. Probably need a good scrubber to get it off, maybe a good idea to provide the cleaning crew with it. The room was spacious and the breakfast was better than most for a grab and go. A lot more options than usual grab and go breakfasts due to Covid. The front desk and staff did have masks on, so this was not an issue for us. However, I drank out of a cup from the cupboard and there was sugar on it on the edge from a previous guest. That completely grossed me out. So a dirty cup was put back in the cupboard, which is not acceptable, especially if it was during Covid times. The hotel was pretty empty, so I don't know when this room was last used. Also, the heater had a lot of issues, so we had trouble maintaining a comfortable temperature in the room. Maintenance said nothing he could do, we would have to switch rooms. My family was too lazy to change rooms at that point. The price on this hotel was very good, especially considering it came with a kitchenette and was pretty spacious.

I would not stay again

Chesterfield is pretty. The hotel seemed new but the person who checked me in was not wearing a mask and the type of room I requested was not available. Also, if you do decide to stay here, be mindful that the surrounding restaurants close early. I ended up getting in too late for dinner but there was a Bar Louie close by that was perfect for lunch.

Clean, quite and Michelle was Amazing!

My family was moving across the country relocating to NC from CO and had just completed the first 14 hour leg of our journey. We arrived at the TownPlace Suites at 1am. Michelle was a refreshing, smiling face that greeted me and helped me get checked in quickly, gave me information about breakfast and reassured me my stay would be great. The room was spotless and we were able to relax and sleep well so we could get up early and continue the journey. Thanks for a great stay! Keep up the great hospitality Michelle!!

Still clean and quiet!

We stayed here last year and decided to stay again since it was so clean and quiet before. No issues this time, either. Everything still smelled clean, and they had had enough breakfast items available to keep everyone happy in the morning.

DOS Jill (Heffner?) was outstanding

My stay started off a bit rocky but the DOS Jill (who is apparently wearing multiple hats during these crazy times) was outstanding. She quickly rectified prior problems and proactively anticipated future requests and had a wonderful, friendly attitude. Jill made for a much improved stay!
