Convenient location and fair price

I was looking for a hotel where to spend one night resting on my trip from Merida going to Mahahual and this is a good option for it, one block from the market and Mayan Culture Museum, clean and with AC.

nice hotel, not so friendly staff

Reviewed 24 november, 2014

Okay, let's balance the good and the bad: The good: The location is close to the old market making it so close to shopping, food stalls, taxis etc, the rooms have well functioning a/c, good wifi with good reception in rooms too, cable tv, warm and cold water and a nice common open area in the second floor so one can sit down and relax or chit chat with friends (we stayed on the 2nd floor), cleaning service everyday. In our case we stayed 2 nights (the cleaning lady asked us if we wanted her to clean, we opted for no, but she was nice enough to bring us extra toiletries and extra towels for our second night.) The bad: If I were the type to go by first impression, I would have perhaps left as we reached the hotel, but we were all tired from the travel, so we stayed. the receptionist that night was not so friendly and answered to our questions with a mad face. We had reserved 2 rooms. Note that you will have to pay 100 pesos in addition to the room price (which will be given back to you when you check out and give back the a/c and tv control.) The second sort of bad thing was the smoke scent coming from the common open area in the second floor. As we opened our doors, all the smoke scent came into the room. In all, I would stay again. What you get for the price of the hotel is good compared to other hotels I've stayed at at that city that give the same amenities for a higher price...only I would perhaps opt for a room in the 3rd floor next time.

Muy mal

Reviewed 17 march, 2020

buen hotel, buena ubicacion

Reviewed 5 april, 2016
