This resort is amazing, my wife and the girls spent a fun time here and they were not disappointed. The resort took care of all their needs, and the spa was amazing for them. They spent all day in the spa and absolutely loved it. The driver for the hotel gave them a great tour of downtown and dropped them off at the best restaurant. The concierge was spot on for them as well.
Would have been perfect except for one MAJOR issue

This FS resort would have been absolutely perfect except for one major issue. We stayed in a room type (Casita 53) that had a Casita above it. The ceiling was so paper thin that we could hear their conversations and it sounded like elephants were stampeding above us. During the day, it might be tolerable but the group above us decided to "party" long into the night. To the point where we had to complain to the front desk twice. It was finally taken care of and Roberto, one of the managers, handled it very well, but at this price point, I should not be able to hear everything going on in the room above me. As for the restaurant, Breakfast was very good. Our servers for our stay were Gabriella and Kevin. Both were absolutely wonderful people and represented the FS brand very well. We had dinner at Terra one night and our server, Chris, was also really great. The dinner itself was very...sloppy. That's the best way to describe it. Nothing tasted bad but the presentation was pretty awful. My wife had the filet and her plate was a jumble of sauces and sides that were all mixed up on the plate. It was also not really seasoned all that well. I had the lamb chops which were served in a bowl making it very hard to cut the lamb without it sliding all over the bowl. Drinks from the bar were very good but bar service was VERY slow. I am thinking they must be short-staffed which is understandable given the current market. Overall, the rooms were nice with the exception of the ceiling thickness but I likely would not stay here again. It's just does not meet the price/value threshold for me.
Wonderful Anniversary Get Away
Reviewed 16 november, 2021
We just returned from celebrating our anniversary at this lovely spot. We have celebrated 3 anniversaries here over a 35 year period and each has been wonderful. The hotel is very small and feels remote, situated in a lovely location. Wonderful service, the cozy casitas, and the delicious food are the best! We were especially lucky to have Sontanna check us in and welcome us- then at the end of our stay, help figure out a complicated bill and wish us farewell. She also helped us get transportation to the SFA airport- we had assumed Uber would be available but the hotel is out of the way. She was darling and so personable- an excellent example of the top-notch service here. I hope we return soon. Also, masks were required in all indoor settings and we felt very Covid safe.

We stayed at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. The property is sooo gorgeous! The guest Casita is simply beautifully furnished. The staff was really attentive, genuine, and there to please. I can't find enough words of praise for this amazing hotel. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the property. The tag was absolutely worth it!
Magic Desert Nights

This is a special Four Seasons resort in a magical place. We visited here on a COVID-19 road trip to finally get back out there after our vaccinations. We chose this location because of the gorgeous desert grounds, pool, spa, views and of course – the fireplaces! The atmosphere both inside and out is modern mixed with traditional Santa Fe and done very well. Our room was a ground-level casita with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. We were still trying to social distance at this point and having a private yard with a couple seating options and a fireplace made the evenings under the stars really special – no need to leave the room. As the sun would set, we called the fire concierge to come and get us all lit up, then long chats and tending fire would commence. Inside, heated concrete floors and Labo products were nice touches. The room service program at this hotel was fantastic, and they were able to accommodate several off-menu requests both nights we stayed, which really impressed me. One evening with our lamb shank, I decided we should kill the bottle of tequila in the minibar, so I called the room service team and they whipped up fresh margarita mix and delivered to our room. It made that night’s fireside chats even better! We didn’t receive spa treatments at this location, but we did reserve one of the private spa suites with a jacuzzi and sauna one afternoon. That experience was very romantic, obviously. This hotel was great, but not perfect. While the private yard with the room was nice on the first floor, you could hear every footstep of the upstairs neighbors. This combined with the high price tag left me wanting more – more sound insultation.
