Good not great.

Room was very large and decor was modern. Room was not as clean as I would expect and there was no room service available after 9pm which is very early. Location seemed okay. Lots of things closed in Cleveland at the time (not hotels fault)

Great unique historical property with attentive staff

Elite Marriott member who spends 100+ nights a year as a business and leisure traveler. The property and staff were all great. 5/5 recommend. The staff really sets this properly a notch above! I specifically want to mention Director of Front Ofdicd Teddy Ostapack, who was exceptionally accommodating and responsive in resolving a couple things during our stay. Thank you Teddy! We visited during a busy (and cold) football weekend in January. Checkin was a breeze, and staff happily brought us more toiletries , extra towels, etc. Clean, spacious suite with soaking tub. A beautiful property. We will see you again!

Underwhelming

We stayed on Christmas night, which might have been part of the issue. We appreciated staff being willing to work that day. That said, the "city view" room with it's modest uncharge was disappointing. Primarily a view of the alley and other buildings right across the street. The room decor might be someone else's ticket but we found it gaudy and busy. The restaurant had no tables available so we ate at the Ledger Bar, which had tasty food. The Moscow Mule was reasonably priced at $14 but we were stunned that the Cabernet was $35 a glass! There was no drink menu and we felt like the wine pricing was exhorbitant. Next time we'll definitely try the Kimpton across the street.

Good location and helpful staff

Our room did not have a desk and the very opaque glass shower wall is near the bed. Neither of these quirky features was an issue for us, but others may feel differently. The breakfast restaurant service was fast and the food was good - allowing us to start driving early.

Excellent access to Playhouse Square

The location is great if you’re headed to the theater. Our room was nice enough. There quite proud of the valet parking but we knew that going in. The location is great. The have a bar and a restaurant. We tried both. The bar was a better experience that the restaurant.
