Personal Stay

I received excellent service when I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham. The staff was helpful the room was clean and pleasant. Comfortable. There was sanitation in place due to Pandemic. The breakfast selection was good.

Just a place to sleep

Room was average. Priced one way on the internet then charged differently (not including tax and fees). Fixtures and side panels were falling apart. Toilet flushing was extremely loud. Black mold around tub. TV selection was probably the best thing.

A home away from home

Great place to stay with quality staff as well as facilities. Convenient for metro buses nearby. Plenty of local places to get a bite to eat and or head out to one of the many area bars for a good drink or quick bite to eat.

Roach motel

Reviewed 16 november, 2019

This place is infested with cockroaches. I complained about it to the staff who advised me to complain directly to the GM or else it would go ignored. When the staff says that, its hard to have any faith in the GM or believe that any improvements will be made. I've noticed that properties in this area run by the Patel family all seem to have the same problems of being poorly managed.

Typical college town hotel

Reviewed 26 october, 2019

We stayed here Oct. 18 & 19, 2019 for a U of M football game. We requested a non-smoking room and, pleasantly, there was no residual smoke odor from previous guests. There were no bed bugs nor evidence of scabies as mentioned in older reviews. Our room was clean and the bed linens had my favorite scent: freshly laundered. There was plenty of hot water for a long, hot shower. The room had new carpeting, a microwave and very quiet refrigerator. It was arranged so that my partner and I could open both our suitcases without inconveniencing each other. It's a lower-priced hotel in a college town, folks, so it definitely shows a lot of wear and tear, but for the price it was great. It is definitely an old Days Inn. The bathroom is tight, but at least the tub and toilet are in a separate room from the sink and vanity, all very clean. The lobby/breakfast room is small but clean. Coffee was good and urns refreshed regularly. The complimentary breakfast was simple but adequate. In our experience DIY waffles and pancakes only lead to messy disasters. We sat in the lobby/breakfast room to visit with friends and were encouraged to notice evidence of recent vacuuming on the upholstered furniture. Ask for a room not facing the street as traffic is noisy. Very close to U of M Campus.
