Dirty, dingy, undone. Plus they make photocopy of your credit card (both sides) to batch up later. We were going to be a block away from office. Cancelled, out there. Don't do it. Looks like they quit, but didn't know how. They were ok with us bailing, i suspect it happens a lot. TripAdvisor. Usually do we check it, this time we didn't.
NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!!

This is coming from a kid so I know if a place is horrible.First of all the people who works there are intimidating and they never made any eye contact. Then when we came in and we walked into a kitchen.Where the office was supposed to be and at one time it was bed and breakfast. And the house/Hotel was creepy because when we came in it was dark. After that we where sitting outside stranded and creeped out. Then I tried to get there attention but we kept getting Ignored. Then the owner came out and said hop into my work van. And then he finally took us to are room that was a mile down the road and the owner had owned ten buildings. And the room was half under construction then he led us into a basement. And I called it a dungeon. And I have more bad news there was stains on the kitchen wall and the kitchen counter was greasy. And the next night there was a load banging on our door at 10:00 at night.Over all that wasn’t a good experience and a was ready to get out of the dungeon and that is all.

I was supposed to have a different room with a jacuzzi but when I said my husband had trouble doing steps we were moved to an old building with what was called a handicap room on main floor. It was dirty - I swept the floor 2x over two days, the sheets had stains on them, the kitchenette was disgusting (the pots were grease coated as was the stove), the walls had marks all over and needed serious painting, the towels were old and dingy and a lot more. The owner was VERY nice and helpful and her cooking for breakfast very very good

Our plane landing around 8 and after getting luggage and our rental car it was past 9. They still made our check in easy and simple! The room was cute and cozy with a nice private bath. We stayed two nights and both mornings breakfast was fantastic! And I loved the little greenhouse entryway we had into the house!!
Not what you expect, don't go there !

First of all virtually all the pictures on Booking.com as well as in other websites are highly misleading. For starter, we thought we had arrived to a different place, as the building at the address to which we arrived was completely different to what shown non the Booking.com website. The actual Inn was in a residential/run down area. The office where we checked-in was, I suppose, the manager's own kitchen. Also, the view and grounds were not well kept and the parking lot was always full, we had to park on the street 2 out of 3 nights. Later, we discovered that this establishment has several names at the same address, such as, Abbey Archway Inn, 7 Gables Inn & Suites, Fairbanks International Hostel...and perhaps others. The room we got was completely different than what represented on the web site. We had to stay as we had no time to look for another accommodation. Their WiFi worked, and breakfast was OK, but everything else was a disaster, the laundry facility was unbelievably dirty and unsafe, see picture. There is nothing on the Booking.com website to indicate that the address that is listed isn't where you will be staying - that is only the check in point. Bed was terribly uncomfortable, pillows were old and flat, no housekeeping showed up during our 3 nights stay. Overall was an incredible experience and a terrible disappointment ! It's a pity that such establishment are granted license to operate, fortunately the Fairbanks area is beautiful and we enjoyed visiting Alaska !
