My family and I stayed here last night and to say the least completely disappointed. Upon entering the room it appeared clean, window over looked the covered courtyard. Under the bed skirt was a soda bottle and other garbage. The room only got hotter as the night went on, when I called the lobby to find out how to turn on the ac (which is advertised to have ac, must have meant in the office and lobby) after I attempted to turn the heat down, I was told to open a window (to the enclosed courtyard) which provided no relief. At 1am I made a trip to get a fan from local walmart. The pool area is only open to how many beds not occupants.(we are a family of 5 and only 4 of us could use the pool due to policy) Complete disappointment. I expect I'll get the same copy paste response the past have gotten and had I seen the reviews I sure would have booked elsewhere. Here are pictures of the described problems.

not clean

we got there at 1100 pm.My wife has a cleaning buisness so she checks everything;one bed had hairs on the sheet;so that hadn't been changed. Then on the other bed we folded back the sheets and found a TICK.They switched us to another room and that one had not been cleaned either.Hairs in the beds and bathroom and an old washcloth on the toilet. We have stayed there many times before when it was the Ramada? but now under new management and name i will never stay there again.

Needs improvement

I stayed here while in Albany on business. It's nice that they have a hotel shuttle, and that our breakfast ended up being free but this hotel is not a credit to the Red Lion brand. Do yourself a favor and just get a Uber. The hotel shuttle smelled like a homeless guy did his business in it. The hotel uses a heavy amount of carpet fresh, which is readily apparent. The hotel restaurant was also not open when we stayed there which no one bothered to tell us or take down the signage. All in all this was not the best stay I've had.

I attended a convention held at the Red Lion Inn at Albany. This hotel is in desperate need of work. When we entered the room, the first thing we saw was food on the floor. It looked like Kix cereal or maybe dog treats. There was hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. The grout looked like it had never been cleaned. The bed side lamp and clock were unplugged. We had to pull the night stand out to plug them in. The indoor pool floor was cracked and chipped. We used the jacuzzi to relax. The guide rail was so loose, we had to hold hands going down the stairs. Scary! There's a nice restaurant inside. Unfortunately it is only open for breakfast. Now the food was Ok for the $7.00 fee. Heads up...their website said Free breakfast! Saturday, maid service took the garbage and used towels and made the beds. The towels were not replaced!!! The front desk told me the towels had to be washed and then they would bring more. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend this place even to board my dogs!

My wide and granddaughter stayed at your location. Grand daughter liked the pool and cost was OK. Was disappointed that breakfast was not included. My wife was SHOCKED when told they would have to pay a $75 "guarantee" that the room would be left ok. Was more surprised when told it would take 10 days for the refund, I've NEVER run across this 'policy' in my 50 years of traveling,, Is this a corporate policy or a local one? Not very customer friendly!
