Really needs a Reno! Old and beat up.

I booked this hotel during AFA Parent's weekend for 1 night, because all the hotel prices were super inflated and I ONLY needed a 1 night stay, so I figured it would be OK. Nothing actually went wrong... everything was just very old and smelly and the plumbing and AC/fan were loud. We checked in late, and I think the only thing they had left was a room on the lower level. It was not good. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at in many, many years. I would not stay here again. If someone on an extremely low budget asked - I would tell them that MAYBE they could try - but likely for the same price would find something better/newer elsewhere. The Coffee maker wasn't even working the next morning. What hotel doesn't have coffee???????. The location was OK, the staff was OK - just get this completely renovated and things will be better.

I've stayed at a lot of Comfort Inns before but this by far was the worst. When we checked in, everything seemed fine. We get to the room and it was TERRIBLE. The sheets on both beds were heavily stained and dirty. The floor had a lot of stains on it. The chair was ripped up and stained. The curtains were stained with what looked like blood. The bathroom had rust just about everywhere. The paint was peeling. It was awful! We tried to make the best of it and asked for fresh sheets but those sheets looked more like brown than they did white. We stayed about 2 hours and then checked out.
Visiting family in Colorado Springs

Our room had a lovely view of Monument Creek below us & the Rockies to the west including a peek of Pike’s Peak. The room was comfortable. There was a noticeable stain on the chair & some rips in the bed skirt, but the room overall felt clean. Our room, 307, had the bathroom sink in the bedroom area as opposed to the separate toilet & shower over tub room. The exhaust fan that always runs in the toilet/shower room was noisy, even with the door closed we could hear it. They are including breakfast, you can eat in their dining area; prepackaged breakfast breads, scrambled eggs, toast, etc but if you want milk you have to pay for it, I was told it was health regulations. That makes no sense, self serve scrambled eggs is ok, but cartons of milk isn’t ok? From a health perspective that makes no sense! We stayed in a Comfort Inn in Glen Carbon, Illinois, no scrambled eggs there, but milk in cartons to go with a limited selection of cereal, guests need to take their breakfast to their rooms. I can see that different states would have different rules, but no milk for breakfast? The Colorado Springs location needs to include milk in the included breakfast for their paying guests.

This location is tired. Our "suite" - was not properly cleaned and the drapes/window coverings were a disgrace - coffee stains or worse....
The two nights were a constant barrage of doors banging ALL NIGHT LONG. These were more than just hotel guests - people on a trip are not coming and going all hours of the night. I was staying there on a business trip - not sleeping at all was not good.
The lady who checked me in - she started her shift on Friday at 3pm was delightful, as was the assistant with the breakfast bar.
In addressing "Hotel Style & Amenities" below, the "high-traffic areas" were poorly maintained and the carpets were dirty in the stair well.
Request Room off Highway--backside of hotel
Opinión escrita el 19 de Febrero de 2021
So we drove from Ohio to The Springs on 2/12. we had a reservation for the 13th. When I called to get in the night early it was indicated that they had no kings as booked for the other nights so we took the two double beds. We were so tired when we arrived to room we thought the window was open because the traffic sounds from the highway sounded like they were in room. Thankfully we made it through that night but I went down first thing in morning to request a room change to the backside of hotel for the rest of stay. We were able to change to a clean King room that very morning which makes me think it was available the night before! What a difference!! Also thought the king room smelled better and seemed cleaner. We stayed until Wednesday morning. We did not partake in daily cleaning or the breakfast. This was our second time staying her and would do again!
