Always a warm welcome exceptional food and can’t fault the housekeeping been going for years always clean and tidy. Will be back again soon just can’t recommend the loaded chips had then twice in this visit just perfect. The staff are friendly and happy to help

Booked for Sunday Lunch for my partner's birthday. There were 4 of us. Sat at a table in the conservatory, which was cold. The table was very sticky, not sure if it has something to do with the cleaning solution they use but felt really dirty. We had Pea and Ham soup to start with, which was mediocre. Very watery with not much flavour. The 4 of us ordered the Roast Beef, which was dull and not very tasty. The roast potatoes and mash looked like they had been standing under a lamp for a while, very dry. The cabbage was grey looking. Overall, the meal was not up to the standard of a Sunday Lunch. Service was good though. Probably would not return.

Food excellent accommodation excellent and staff were fantastic and John could not do enough to make our stay amazing we will be definitely be returning for another amazing night of music dancing food drinks and good nights accommodation and brilliant breakfast 👍

Went for evening meal on Wednesday 7th Dec 2022 on a recommendation and following reviews. What a disappointment! Most of the food was overcooked; sprouts, broccoli and chips and luke warm peas were served to us, I did return the vegetables which were swimming in water and said I would not pay for food which is' not of the nature intended' .

We called in for a Sunday roast on the off chance of getting a table. We got a table. Staff very polite food great. Table was nice. We ordered 3 Sunday roasts one was a child's. The child portion was a fair size ! We didn't wait long to be served food was lovely. The price was cheap. We will be going back.
