More about the hotel
Had a procedure at the Beacon hospital
Well people, I had the most amazing experience at this hotel.Staff from cleaning through to management was an absolute pleasure, nothing was too much for these wonderful people. It was an overnight stay but I felt like I wanted to stay longer. I was treated with the utmost respect and everyone had a smile that would make you feel like a real special person. Rooms were very clean but, food was great and once again they went over and above their duty. They really made me feel at home I was even given a very late checkout without me having to ask and by God I really needed that late checkout. It's been my second stay at this hotel and I am sure l when I have my next hospital appointment, The Clayton hotel in Leopardstown will for sure see me for another overnight or perhaps longer. I have to travel 2hrs + for a one way trip. So to all the staff and management that was on duty Friday 22nd January 2021,thank you from the bottom of my heart and rest assured I will be back. I am one very happy customer and my name is Rae Belelie. WELL DONE TO YOU ALL,KEEP REAL CAUSE IT WORDS ALONE ARE NOT ENOUGH.
An amazing offer in a COVID-19 time of crisis
We have to attend a medical appointment in a nearby hospital and as it’s an early one it makes sense to travel to Dublin the night before . When we searched local hotels , the Clayton came up as the closest and when we rang , we were bowled over with the rate on offer , we have now enjoyed , dinner B&B including parking for just over €100 . It is amazing value , the rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff very helpful and professional. Could not recommend them enough , great location just off the M50 . Well done Clayton leopardstown .
Lads learn how to present a cocktail
Lads, when someone buys a round of cocktails, it would be nice if you made an effort to present them in cocktail (not whiskey!) glasses - its pretty basic stuff. Cocktails aren't cheap so any barman worth their salt will make the effort.
Very enjoyable comfortable stay!
Lovely comfortable room and dining. Friendly, hardworking and professionally minded staff attentive to needs throughout. Breakfast was superb with plenty to choose with table service in spacious dining room. Only minor issue was shortage of stay at dinner on first night of 2. Recommended!!
Changed room 3 times, went back home
We had to change room 3 times. In the first one, there was a heavy smoke smell. In the second one, the mattress had a brown/red-ish spot in the middle. In the third one, we hit the jackpot, the room had both the smoke smell and the dirty mattress. With a 3-year-old and a pregnant woman, nobody offered any help. The staff could only say "sorry" and wasn't very helpful. Avoid at all costs.
