Espero regresar pronto

We stayed in the hotel for one night and upon arrival we tried to book a table for dinner at reception. We were told to go and settle in our room and they would call us about the reservation. I assumed it was a formality, that we would get a table. The phone call to the room never came and so when I called down to enquire about a dinner reservation I was told all tables were booked and that we couldn’t eat in the hotel that evening. After persisting and wasting half an hour of our time we were told we would be allowed to eat in the hotel.
The next morning as I went to check out I was told I hadn’t paid despite showing them on my phone that I had. They wanted to see a receipt at reception. I told them I had thrown it in the bin. They wanted me to go to my room, which I had checked out of and search the bin to find the receipt. I went and did as they asked, foolishly. I was in disbelief that I was asked to go and fish through a bin to prove I had paid. To top it all off, reception wouldn’t waive my room service bill - which was very small - as a gesture of goodwill. A stay to forget and unfortunately I will never go back.
Another Excellent stay in Lough Erne Resort

We had a wonderful time in Lough Erne Resort where we spent our 3 night staycation this year. The resort is very well presented throughout, keeping up with it's 5* rating and has excellent Covid arrangements throughout the hotel.
We enjoyed two evening meals in the Blayney Bar and one in the Loughside Grill - all of the food was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly and well trained. The live music in the Blayney Bar was a nice touch on the Sunday evening and really added to the relaxed atmosphere.
We made use of the spa facilities and had amazing treatments during our stay, well worth booking (special thanks to Tamara my therapist)
We booked a Lakeside room and everything was excellent, great location and wonderful views, we even got sun in Fermanagh!
Breakfast was well organised each morning with pre booking system in place due to Covid, the food was of a very high standard and freshly cooked to order with a great selection on the menu.
We enjoyed the Collop Walk which follows the golf course and even took the detour to the Enchanted Forest which would be fantastic for younger children to enjoy.
We must mention two lovely ladies who we met during our stay, Helen, who has just been promoted from Spa Manager to Deputy General Manager, wishing you every success and Ruth who helped to arrange our trip and looked after all of our prebooking requirements - it was a pleasure to meet you both and we hope to be back soon for another relaxing treat. Well done to Joanne and her team at Lough Erne Resort.
3 star at Best

After having not been away for 2 years a relaxing & luxurious night away was required. We didn’t get the room we reserved & were promised it would be sorted whilst we were at dinner (another story). It wasn’t & we had to end up packing & moving rooms.
All the restaurants at the resort were fully booked until 9pm, so ended up having to leave & eat elsewhere - not the relaxing time I had thought. We had to have breakfast at 7.30 as all the other times were full!
If you are wanting a relaxing, stress free vacation this is not the place….spend your money elsewhere!
