Ibis Contagem Ceasa Hotel, located on the banks of BR 040, in front of Ceasa Minas and close to the industrial area of Contagem, we are close to the exits to, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Vitória and Brasília and 9 KM from the region Pampulha, Mineirão, 5 km from the Zoo and 2.5 km from Shopping Contagem. We have our own restaurant that we serve buffet at will from Monday to Thursday, and from Friday to Sunday La Cart. We have free parking, with 70 spaces available in addition to internet.

The reason for my "poor" rating is the location of the hotel. The Ibis Contagem is situated within a industrial area directly besides the 24 hrs busy and very noisy highway BR 040. And since we are in Brazil, the windows of the hotel rooms facing the highway are not of the double pane type as in Europe or the US, which means a loud environment in the room. In my case the window closing mechanism was even malfunctioning, which meant more noise. I changed the room, but it was still noisy. The only escape is to ask for a room facing the industrial area and not the highway, which in my case it was fully booked. The Ibis Contagem room has also the hideous window curtain, which covers not only the window, but half of the table. The cleanliness of the room was just average. Two plus points: the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and the staff was superfriendly. On-site parking is free. But for me once is enough in this hotel.

Perfect! The staff and the room were very well. The people is very hospitality, friendly. The room is very clean, good sleep quality. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant the meals is excellent.

Nice and quiet on weekend

A hotel on the outskirt of Belo Horizonte, right beside a highway which is lined with industry and is great for those travelling by car and does not want to go into the city. It's a hotel mainly for people who's on a business trip visiting nearby industry sites. There is no restaurants or minimart on the surrounding but the attendant told us that there is a shopping center somewhat nearby. We were there for a night which happens to be a saturday so the hotel was very quiet. They serve buffet dinner but not on weekend.

The usual - when you stay at an Ibis, you know what you are going to get and this one was no exception - friendly staff, clean room, nice shower and good wifi! If you are going to work in the Industrial District of Contagem - this is a great option.

Great stay for me and my wife

Hotel is in a good location for the route I was taking and the attention given to me and my wife at the reception was great. Only thing that is not so much good is the breakfast that could be a little bit more diverse, although the quality of the food available was perfect such as fresh fruits, for instance.
