Work
Not a great place in the mornings. No breakfast or juice, burnt coffee and very noisy for no reason. Would suggest Not to stay here, I know me or the company will not. I never leave reviews but will for this terrible experience.
Thieving employees
We had a hotel go into our room, despite a "do not disturb" sign on the door and steal a lawfully owned handgun. No return phone call from hotel management and no current information has been given to me.
Okay for one night
Stayed here for one night last week on our way to Myrtle Beach, as many travelers do. Stayed here several years ago when this property was a Sleep Inn, and it was better then. Has gone downhill since the changeover to Quality Inn. The hallways had a very moldy, musty smell to them. Housekeeping had failed to provide extra toilet tissue in the room, therefore we had to go to the desk ourselves to get this late at night. The guests across the hall from us were up partying in their room and hallway until around 1AM. Also, if you assigned a room facing to highway, be prepared to listen to that all night as the windows do not block out very much noise. The current COVID-19 issue has closed the morning breakfast, pool, and ice machines. The room itself was clean, however; given my experience this time versus our past stay at this property, we will probably look at other options the next time we are in the area looking for overnight accommodations.
Quiet, Nice, Clean, perfect
My brother in law booked our room for us because they had stayed there during hurricane times. They are in the midst of updating things, but it is still a very nice place! Our room (100) was on the back, so it was very quiet. As for the room...it was a suite with a kitchen area, HUGE bathroom, great water pressure (I want this shower in my home!!) The bed was comfy and the pillows were, as well. Breakfast is good: eggs, sausage/bacon, gravy, biscuits, waffles, etc... Will definitely stay there again.
Just OK, but decent really!
Ok it's weird, some hate this, I would say it's a place to stay NOT with family. Lots of workers stay here. We were working so its decent. Maybe like 3.25 stars. Good is the actual room, the bathrooms are really good, newly redone so glass sliding standup shower doors, clean new inserts, lots of hot water with new shower heads, clean toilet Nd sink area with towels which are small and free shampoo soap and conditioner. Bed is good, seemed clean, small microwave and fridge. Small flatscreen, not tiny with a bunch of channels. The kinds bad my room faced the front so road noise was BAD, woke me up a bunch, nothing they can do it's on a semi busy road which is used by 18nwheelers so its loud!!! No work out room, the common bathroom on lobby was taped off so that looked bad, we left b4 the free breakfast. Like I said if ur working without ur family in the area its fine but other than that theres no reason to stay here.
