Beware of unauthorized charge!!

Called and made a one night reservation for Oct 2022. Reservation was made in October 2021 and I was told a credit card would be needed for a "hold" for the room and the card would not be charged. December 2021, after checking my CC statement, I found my card was charged. This happened without any type of notification. No phone call and no email. I left the hotel manager two voice mails in ref to the unauthorized charge. After not hearing back from the hotel, I disputed the charge. About 4 days after the charge dispute, the manager called and I was told that the hotel received numerous reservations with bad card numbers so they charged the card to see if it was a good CC. Beware of giving your credit card number and being told it won't be charged!!!! I believe some sort of communication should of taken place before any charge occurred.

The entire hotel needs to be rejuvenated. Rooms are awful. Lobby a mess. No services available. Poor front desk employees had no power or resources to fix problems. Place should be closed down until they can provide proper accommodations.

Poorly run hotel. Dog “friendly” room dirty and shabby. Bed looks like housekeeping just threw the bedding on…fitted sheet inside out, duvet has stains on it, had to ask front desk for a second set of towels, lampshades cracked and dirty. This used to be a lovely hotel… not any more! I have photos of the bedding. How do I upload them? Tomorrow night my husband and the dog are going back home and I am going to the HAMPTON INN!!

We have been going to the Corning Radisson for six years and regret its recent decline. I assume it has been under new management and, as a result, has gone downhill. The front desk is unprofessional. Two of the front desk worker were wearing sloppy white t-shirts—the third was wearing leggings and a black tee. None of that matters as much as their surly attitude and their lack of masks. I understand that New York State allows mask to be optional, but all restaurants and shops in the area required masks. We had to change rooms once, and the second, while better than the first, was dirty. Everything is in need of work and workers. No housekeeping for stays over a night. Big handprint on our night table. Bad. Bad. Bad.
Don't stay there!

This was the worst hotel I've stayed in the US. There is no maid service (which isn't posted on their website). The room had broken furniture. There is no help with any luggage (my friend and I are repectively77 and 78 years old). There are signs saying that the hotel is scheduled for renovation. Boy does it need it, We paid for breakfast when we booked the room but was then told by a front desk clerk that it wasn't included. Fortunately I had my original reservation and they did refund the breakfast I had to go out to get. It's in a good location though. Expensive for what they're offering.
